"Just a friendly", "all about fitness", etc., etc., but what answers have we actually got from the friendlies that'll help us? Headed into competitive games without any idea how our strongest side would look like with a back four. Don't know if Sinclair can cope with 90 minutes of senior football. Don't know how Gilmour would do at CM in a strong team. Montgomery looked alright as has Crawford who looks a bit comfortable in this shape tbh. Gilmour looks like a midfielder playing RWB, some decent moments but obviously times where he doesn't know where to be. Need another mobile ball player in the middle to play this all season.
