In total seriousness, what would be sufficient grounds to postpone the cup final?

Aberdeen had eight players out at the start of the season and had their game against us rearranged to a time where they could field a full strength squad.

Obviously far more of a logistical nightmare with the game being the last of the season and it taking place at Hampden, but hypothetically, if half of the squad was wiped out with Covid, what would we actually do?

Ballot for fans with a pair of boots and shin pads?

@craigkillie the likeliest to know.

Would hope there's scope to delay for a week.

I doubt they’d be willing to delay by a week, especially after UEFA just gave permission for fans to attend.

I’d hope they would but I doubt it.

The Courier article sounds slightly less dramatic. Some players back for Saturday, should train between now and Friday, all tests last night negative, none of the players who do have it are symptomatic and nobody is ruled out of the final at this stage.

You wonder how likely they are to be a false positives as well.

If it’s a false positive then surely they can return to normal if they return a negative?

Does feel like they've left players out tonight to prevent any spread, as its made clear nobody else has tested positive.

Guess with players not training the risk of injury during matches maybe goes up?
