He looked pretty handy against us in the first half, ragdolled Grieve about the place, won every challenge with ease.

Problem for him is he went off injured early in the 2nd half. Albeit he hadn't played much football if any for months.

He's 35, missed about 12 months of football with an injury, and his wage demands at Aberdeen would make him the highest earners at a chunk of clubs in the division.

Anyone who signs him is a fanny.

Can't deal with the idea that Davidson might be signing players for us this summer. Need to believe he'll be gone by this time next week and we'll have some hope restored, whatever league we are in.

Aye.

Can't help but feel he'll spend this Summer targeting "experienced" players who can do a job short term, or who've played up here before. So more Ambrose/Butterfield/Ciftci types.

Exactly! He'll point out that experiments like Vertainen have failed while experience like Conway have worked for him. Experience that knows the league.

Agree with the rationale there but can’t help but feel the gambles didn’t work as intended because none of them were (or have been) given the chance to adjust and settle in. Maybe they are guff but where’s the harm in giving Bair or Vertainen a run when we only have one striker who scored any goals anyway

Agree completely. He can't be gone soon enough but unfortunately I don't actually see it being very soon.

You shouldn't worry about it, we've put that on hold anyway.

Shaggers, Ego Nightclub. Talk to me, is it worth a visit?
Where is it?

It’s above bank bar.
It’s not the best but you’ll enjoy it.

FWIW the ITK guy on WAP has confirmed it'll take a miracle for us to keep Hendry, for anyone who's still holding out hope he's staying.

No doubt it'll be the clubs fault for not extending his deal 18 months ago, and not the managers for making him feel completely unwanted and undervalued while wasting 12 months of his career.

To be fair the manager wasn’t the only one who wrote him off.

Ego [emoji23] absolute shite. Would rather spend the whole night in the Bee Bar.

The last time I walked in they refused to serve us for not being regulars.

There was 5 other people in at the time.

Whilst this is true, we weren't the ones working with him.

Absolutely shambolic handling of goalscorer.
