Honest Saints Fan
Is it not coming up to deadline lower league clubs can sign loans which is the reason for the mass exodus?

Radford
Neither of these lads were, rightly or wrongly, going to feature much in the coming months. It'll spell the end for Hendry. Hopefully he won't turn out to be our Shankland or Nisbet but it hasn't worked for him under Davidson. So massively disappointing after those last few months under Tommy Wright. Disappointed that Ballantyne hasn't been given a chance and question how much more he'll develop at Montrose but at least he'll be getting games. Gilmour, Northcott and Sinclair the other three you'd maybe like to see go out, although in the case of the middle named, suspect he was fortunate to have a year left on his deal in the summer.

PauloPerth
Disappointed in the way it's turned out with Hendry. Didn't fit into Davidsons style of play at all and has paid the price. That's his St Johnstone career done. He'll get goals for killie I'm sure. Davidson has a massive window coming up in January. He inherited a talented squad, added a few fringe players, and gave us a history making season. But right now the playing squad looks in far poorer shape than when he took over.

Id imagine there will be loads of contract offers out there. Maybe once one ir two sign on, others will shortly follow. I'd imagine Gordon will want to sign, but Saints fan or not, if there is bigger moves potentially out there, he'd be dilly not to listen. Same goes for Clark. I wonder if maybe he will have an agent in his ear saying a move may get him up the Scotland pecking order? That would just leave McCart and Rooney for me as those who may walk away at the end of tgtor contracts. Everyone else out of contract, excluding loans, would probably sign on if there is a contract put in front of them unless it was for a huge drop in wages. On Hendry, aside from a great spell pre Covid, there hasn't been much for me that would suggest he would contribute much more to be honest. Probably very unlucky in the timing of his form coinciding with the pandemic.
RandomGuy.
Better for Ballantyne to play games than sit in the stands, presumably they've tried to get him a Championship move but it's not happened. Hendry is comfortably 6th choice up front so also makes sense to ship him out. I think he'll recover some form somewhere and turn into a decent top flight striker, but it's been clear for a while it wouldn't be with us.

There certainly won't be any opposition by St Johnstone. Callum Hendrys time at Saints has been about 18 months too long. Good riddance imo.

He’s got something and Wright will know how to get the best out of him. Our manager’s system involves forwards working like mad to close down and defend from the front. There’s a reason we don’t score goals, and it’s far more than a Callum Hendry issue. His all round game is average, but create chances and he’ll be in there on the end of them. Hes got a temper and a bit of attitude, but if you can get his confidence back it’s a great signing.
