To me that seems our strongest side just now, tbh. Only get one sub per position so Gilmour/Ballantyne miss out as they'll surely get loans, and May more likely to play wide than Hendry.

I think MacPherson is an attack minded CM, rather than a CAM, if that sounds right and isn't too wanky. Not sure we can rely on him to win the ball a lot, but I don't think he'll let us down.

It's not a dreadful squad.

Aye Cammy is more of a box to box, gets about the pitch, won't dominate games but gets stuck in to tackles. Ironically you were mentioning Brophy shooting on sight, MacPherdon is similar. Scored some belters but a lot end up in the stand, frustrating for some when there is a better pass on but I don't mind players shooting (unless it's Jack Hendry v the Czechs).

Will give yous everything when he gets a chance. Maybe even try top hard as he is playing for his future now. Good bet for getting a booking in games too.

At least Alan Nixon has followed up on his campaign to get McCann a move by trying to get himself cancelled on Twitter

Share with the class if you can.

Seems he was doing some kind of impromptu Q and A to show what a big swinging d*ck he is in the media world, was asked what he thought about Celtic's transfer window, a one sentence response of "the wee j*p looks good" went down as well as expected, then doubled down with a pc gone mad kind of response, also really seemed to struggle with the basics of Ali McCann being born in Scotland but playing football for Northern Ireland too but that's small fry

So did McCann tank his transfer value by demanding that he move to England? Which is basically the same as saying he didn't want to move to one of the Old Firm, and that would obviously be a complication due to playing for Northern Ireland.

So Tommy Wright's influence cost you £££s

Of all the hot takes, this is the wildest.

Not really. Saints tanked his value by basically saying we'd accept a crap offer. They offered under £1m and then came back with what they did. Clearly Saints gave them enough encouragement they were close enough.

If either of the OF wanted him, they could easily have afforded £1.2m.

Why did he expressly want to go to England? Other than the issues with the Old Firm and his shiny new allegiance to the Failed Statelet?

If Tommy Wrong wasn't his manager his head would never have been turned.

You're carrying on with this?

Now now. They HAVE won a game this season.

Difference is, Dundee's good times in most of our lifetimes were a 5th placed finish, 2 admins and resigning the thumb.

Ours have been 3 trophies, multiple european trips and plenty of top 6 finishes. All more recently than Charlie Adam has had a full set of hair and teeth.

All relative I suppose.

You going to refute any of it?

McCann only plays with Northern Irleand because of Tommy Wright.

McCann expressly said he wouldn't move to the OF. (unless your chairman is lying, which is possible)

Can't wait how you are going to explain how his brother also plays for NI and was capped by them before Ali got called up to NI at any age level?

Tommy Wrights doing too? Didn't know he was in  charge at Dunfermline at same time as Saints.

Saints sell their two best players with hours left of a transfer window, 14 months after Tommy Wright left, and the biggest meltdown is from a Motherwell fan seething about Tommy Wright costing us money.

Incredible scenes.
