He should be advising against his man taking such a rinsing again tbh. The Ruiz KO is easier to explain away than getting your pants pulled down over 12 rounds

He was simply out boxed in a Boxing match. To put up as good a display as he did, for somebody with his resume, compared to Usyk's, was admirable IMO & one of the most technical Heavyweight title fights for many a year.

It was ALWAYS going to be his toughest test, against an elite boxer & was well beaten in the end.

Joshua HAS to come in to any rematch from a different viewpoint. One which might show if his height, weight & reach may count against the smaller opponent; making it a "Fight" & firing big shots. Unlike Ruiz, Usyk isn't supposed to carry the weight or punch liable to trouble those 'Big Heavyweights'.

It is the only alternative to another 12 round trouncing on points. Better to lose trying something different, than enter with the same plan & expecting a different result.

Andy Ruiz burned caution into AJs psyche. He now knows Usyk can wobble him, and also tag him at will with the straight back hand. Tyson Fury said he should go right in on Usyk but that takes balls that AJ doesnt have. I suspect AJ and McCracken knew all of this. I mean we doscussed it here before the fight... AJ was ALWAYS going to use his size to win the fight..... wasnt he?

Except he didn't. Only he knows why, the rest of us can only speculate but I dont think we are any more likely to see a less cautious AJ in a rematch.

Don't think Eddie has quite realised his guy lost on Saturday. Seems to think any rematch WON'T take place in Kiev!!

That annoyed me on Saturday night. Usyk has just came to London and schooled AJ in his home city…first question he is asked by the Sky interviewer ‘Are you willing to come back to London to defend your belts?’

Fair enough, your almost guaranteed a big crowd in London etc, but Usyk is the champion and it should be he and his team who decide where the fights goes. Kiev has stadiums that could be used and would almost certainly sell out, albeit not at the same ticket prices as London.

Would be absolutely sensational if that was topping the undercard at the Hydro for Taylor v Catterall. Will be going along anyway, but that'd make me buy the ticket doubly quick.

Reported on a Matchroom/DAZN card. Taylor's with Top Rank/ESPN

Ah, that's a shame. Was hoping with Taylor being on sky that link might see it work.

Tbf, it deserves to main event a card really. Two fantastic young fighters, and if it's anything like the first it'll be a brilliant watch.

Can see Fury Wilder being over pretty sharpish. Fury looks great. Wilder’s solution to getting ragdolled was to get a yes man as head trainer. Would like to see Wilder win as Wilder Usyk would be like some Tekken 2 fight between two different species (and to hear wilder try and pronounce Usyk) but Firy walked through his best shot last time so can’t see how this is different.

Great fight between two great fighters but is this the best time for McGregor v Farooq rematch?

Do any of these guys have the chance to win a world title and bring that to a rematch to make it a bigger event?

Could be another close one, & their rivalry see them still meeting again later in their careers.

He's as fat as f**k.

The wee bits that count - his face, top of the moobs,, shoulders, all look like he has done at least a few sparring sessions in the last couple of weeks. Fit for purpose anyway.

Fury has never once looked like anything other than a man made of pastry. It doesn't matter how he comes in looking really. It only matter whether he can implement the same gameplan as the previous two fights long enough to do the damage without getting Wilder'd.

We all know he can, but I have an odd wee feeling for this one. The sort if feeling only someone with game changing punch power can give you....

Looking forward to getting this one out of the road to be honest. The build up is absolute drivel. Fury will hand out another bleaching as Wilder is dreadful. Hiring a yes man in Malik Scott will have done nothing to change matters over the last year or so.

A complete and utter non event.
