Derry Alli
Tyson v Roy Jones Jnr, Sept 12th. Streaming on PPV and Triller (WTF?).
Shandon Par
Did I see Tyson smoking his toad venom whilst signing the contract? Not sure if DMT can be classed as performance enhancing anyway.
Bairnardo
I am good with this although I wouldnt pay for it. Would love to see the old timers do a global exhibition tour. Imagine going somewhere in Glasgow to watch a press conference for Toney v B-Hop [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]Make it happen.
Ludo*1
Read that Tyson 'won't be going for a KO'. That's the main appeal of seeing Tyson in action FFS!
Bairnardo
RIP Brother Naazim. A true scholar of the game, fascinating character. Could read/listen to his views on boxing all day.

kiddy
What a guy. Is that Ukrainian for "it's Friday then it's Saturday, Sunday..."? [emoji23][emoji1787][emoji23] Wonder if Mufasa can box?
8MileBU
Looks like the evening entertainment at some c***s wedding is backyard boxing.

buddie06smfc
Eggington should never be allowed ring walk music. He should be forced to walk in silence. His choice of dubstep is horrific. Edit: that could be read as other dubstep music would be acceptable, no dubstep is acceptable.
kiddy
Meant to say Ian John Lewis should never be allowed to referee again. Wanting to count to 10, when a boxer has just been knocked spark out was utterly appalling.
J_Stewart
Only put this on half way through the 8th, but some laugh watching Eggington and Cheeseman consistently block punches with their face.

How can an experienced guy like him look at that and think anything else but instant stoppage, the guy was never getting up. Luckily he wasn’t too seriously hurt, but if he was he has just delayed medical assistance that could be the difference between life and death.
cb_diamond
A wee mention to Rab Bannan who passed a few days ago. The amount of young people whose lives were made better by him keeping them on the straight and narrow with boxing is huge. Most people will know him as Ricky Burns' trainer but he did a power of community work in Coatbridge. A true gent.
ayrmad
Not great to hear Ken Buchanan now in care with a memory that's failing.
Ludo*1
I thought it was just a few year ago he was grumbling about making a ridiculous comeback because he was skint, but upon further googling, it was 11 year ago! Man time flies. Less than a year on from a decent wee interview in the Scotsman with him. https://www.scotsman.com/sport/boxing/interview-ken-buchanan-hibs-josh-taylor-going-full-circle-leith-getting-statue-himself-and-standing-princess-annes-toes-1401023
Neilly
Uncle Frank and Uncle Eddie have spoken to each other for the first time ever today on the phone regarding a cross stable PPV. What a time to be alive.
