Shandon Par
Stick on that we'll see a Joshua v Whyte headline with Chisora v Usyk as the support up next.
diamond_for_life
Usyk or Pulev next as mandatory defences. Just depends which governing body comes out on top by the looks of it. Safer option for Joshua being Pulev? Edited December 9, 2019 by diamond_for_life
JMDP
It was a good performance from Joshua, still clear flaws like backing away in straight lines and his footwork is certainly not elite. Pretty disgraceful from Ruiz the shape he came in and Joshua should have been putting him away given the state of him. You would imagine he will try and go the Pulev route next. -
MONKMAN
My guess is he’ll vacate the WBO and fight Pulev.
Detournement
Will Uysk want to fight AJ next after not looking great vs Witherspoon? Given that they are both promoted by Eddie I think they will work something out.
Armand 2
Thought Ruiz was an embarrassment - but hey, would I have been any different if I became a multi millionaire World Champion overnight? I probably wouldn't have been cleared to fight. Joshua easily outclassed him but I can't see him living with Wilder's power and I don't think he's crafty enough to work out the puzzle of Tyson Fury in 12 rounds. Pulev would be a good match up and (should be) a fairly straightforward defence.
quickoverayard
I don’t honestly think we’ll see Wilder v Fury 2. AJ v Pulev is a sure thing but if the top 3 don’t fight there’s not much left for any of them, in terms of massive fights! Need to see how Usyk does against a top 10 before he jumps in with the big boys.... hoping he’s a threat.
roman_bairn
Real surprise to see that AJs next fight will be against someone he’s previously beaten....Too many handing out plaudits for a distinctly average display on Saturday.

dundeefc1783
Be amazed if he fights Usyk. Pulev is a much easier fight for him
quickoverayard
Which one will he duck? Neither but very unlikely he will fight twice in 6 months. Never ducked anyone so hardly going to start now.

Stevieda
So can anyone actually see Fury v Wilder 2 actually going ahead on February 22nd? They are both talking as if its happening without anything actually being announced. I can't see it myself, even talk now of Wilder fighting Ruiz. Joe Joyce fighting Huck for the European title in Germany on January 11th. Winner of that will be in the mix for a title fight too.
Stevieda
Fury split from Ben Davidson, probably the right decision but time will tell.
