Bairnardo
Joshua ducking the real opponents again then. Guy has no interest in fighting Fury, Wilder or even White. Apparently the offers made to them were ridiculous. 85/15 split made to White for example. The sole reason for Whyte having any sort of limelight is Anthony Joshua. The idea that this jobber could or would ever make more than his 15% of an AJ fight in any other circumstances is laughable. He owes everything he has to AJs success and he has already had a shot and been knocked out.
JamieStevenson
Not convinced anyone would or even should get a decent split from AJ.
dundeefc1783
Joshua talks constant pish about his legacy. In reality he has zero interest in legacy it’s all about money.
J_Stewart
Wilder and Fury absolutely should get a minimum 60/40 if not 55/45 or even 50/50 split. Both are undefeated, both big names (especially after their fight) and both with similar records to Joshua. One has a world title, one is considered the lineal champion. The simple fact is those two fighters will not accept less, nor should they, and without them, perception of Joshua will be that he’s a protected fighter cherry picking the low hanging fruit in the division. He needs to fight them or his image will get tarnished, and with that, his marketability. Regarding the Miller fight, it is worse in every respect than were he to fight Whyte again. Whyte has demonstrably improved since the first fight and whether you believe he won against Parker or the first Chisora fight, his record shows that he did, and his record is considerably better than Millers. Out with Fury, Wilder and Ortiz, Whyte is probably the next most deserving and most legitimate threat to Joshua.

How is Ortiz been thrown into the mix of fighters who are elite level, who exactly has he beat??? Love him or hate him AJ has the best record amongst the current crop of heavyweights and is well within his rights to demand a higher split. 60/40 to the winner of the ordered rematch between fury and Wilder is more than fair.Whyte ( who i actually enjoy watching ) is delusional, yes he caught AJ with a left hook that did no more than stun Joshua is now demanding ridiculous amounts of money. I 100% disagree with anyone who says AJ is a protected fighter. He's faced everyone who was willing to fight him and hes done the business each and every time so has earned the right to get what hes worth. All people are doing is pricing themselves out a fight....

All people are doing is pricing themselves out a fight.... Fury has a better record - his win over a prime, decade long undefeated Kiltschko is better than Joshua's life or death win over. His performance (clear win) against Wilder is better than anything else that Joshua has. Let's look at the rest of AJ's next best performances. Parker - massively overrated and a paper champ after fury lost the belts. Lucky to be a champ, the Andy Ruiz win was controversial, Hughie Fury clearly outpointed him. AJ ground out a dull points win. Whyte - clearly unfit and under prepared. British level with a decent bang. Povetkin - outboxed AJ early, completely ran out of steam. A good level but not world level. As an aside the scorecards in AJ's fights with Klitschko and Povetkin at the time of stoppage were a scandal - he will never lose a decision in the UK and fury should be cautious in fighting him here if he wants a fair shake. I think Joshua is a good boxer, but he's very over rated by the matchroom hype train lads. He's clearly a terrible human being though and I'd love to see him sparked. -
kiddy
Whyte on tonight's Sky/matchroom event saying the Joshua fight is dead & looking at Ortiz/Povetkin or Brezeale @O2 end of April. Eddie talking AJ/Miller @MSG.
JamieStevenson
Whyte would crush Breazeale. Would be a good laugh.
Super_A
I was hoping for Kownacki-Breazeale, Whyte should fight Ortiz.

kiddy
Two down, purely through volume of punches thrown by the Spaniard. Can he keep this up?
J_Stewart
Garcia has won the first three rounds, IMO.Finding Macklin complimenting Cheeseman’s defence a bit odd as I genuinely don’t like when boxers block shots with their face!
kiddy
Cracking fight, the Champ's output puts him 3 up in my eyes.
kiddy
Got him 4 down, but the Spaniard starting to look a slight but more ragged.
kiddy
Garcia 5 up. Just a phenomenal work rate, Cheeseman has just got to keep hanging in.
J_Stewart
Total shutout for Garcia at the halfway stage. Genuinely wouldn’t be surprised to see Cheeseman stopped around about 9/10 as although Garcia doesn’t seem to be a big puncher, he’s catching him clean almost at will and Cheeseman’s face is starting to get really marked-up.
