Deeboy
Fair play to Celtic for appointing a known tranny shagger. That takes balls. Brendan Rodgers appointed Celtic boss, SJC returns to P&B all within the same hour. Genuinely.
ICTChris
Good appointment for Celtic. I thought they'd go for Roy Keane or, hilariously, Malky Mckay. Not sure Rodgers is in it for the long run - he probably fancies winning a title, getting a crack at Europe and then going for a gig back in the Premiership but I'm sure Celtic know that. Joe Allen to come in tomorrow 9am.
VanCityHibs
Good for Celtic....good for Scottish football 👠
Thistle4eva
An appointment to get fans back on board. Will a manager with a bigger reputation get as much stick for losing to small european and Scottish teams though?
Bert Raccoon
I think it's a great appointment and it'll be good to see him in Scotland.

Dindeleux
Most ambitious move by Celtic in 15 years, potentially a great appointment.
rainbowrising
3 year plan I reckon. If at the end of year 2 he has celtic sorted and qualifying for CL year 3 will have both sides review where they are which I think fits Celtic plans (and Rodgers obviously)

Judge Jules
When he was at Liverpool they were amazing when Luis Suarez was there then pish when he left for Barca, the near success he had at Liverpool was nothing to do with him. Bang average manager.
thisGRAEME
Startled to see so many so positive. Won...Nothing with one of the best players in the world at his disposal, then fell apart when he didn't have him. Good appointment for everyone else, IMO. cilitbang
He probably said the same pish when he was appointed Liverpool manager. This should be a good laugh.

Ned Nederlander
I had the misfortune of spending an afternoon at work recently with a die-hard Liverpool fan who didn't have a nice word to say about Rodgers - slagged him to f'ck. His private life is a bit of a mess IIRC.

Hammer Jag
Being asked to find mutant Celtic fans for an interview outside the stadium must be a very easy and satisfying job indeed. Savage Henry
Liverpool fans are c***s. They also chased out Benitez and Hodgson. Yup. I have no idea whether he's a good manager or bad, but Liverpool fans' views (in the general) are plainly not a good yardstick.
