DukDukGoose
Could be the making of the lad. He'll be disappointed but as long as he doesn't let it affect his football then another big move could come in January.
Dons_1988
Seriously what was Neil Lennon playing at talking about him the way he did before it was confirmed.Major embarrassment for him

C4mmy31
That's a shame for the boy, I hope he makes a full recovery & gets his big move, a cracking player...... David Turnbull's proposed £3.25m move to Celtic from Motherwell has collapsed after it emerged that the midfielder needs "immediate preventative surgery". http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48777582 Edited June 27, 2019 by C4mmy31
Ron Aldo
Is it weird that I'm disappointed he's staying? All that this means is that we have a player who probably doesn't want to be here, we'll have a similar situation in a few months / year with us trying to sell him to the highest bidder - will we even get similar bids if he doesn't hit the same heights or teams have concerns over his injury? I appreciate an injury can't be helped but, personally, I would rather we had the £3 million quid in the bank and were able to move on with building a team for next season.
Popular Post The_Judge
During the signing talks Celtic advised him they'd be managing his injury the same way they did with Tierney.

Lennon "confirmed" they were close to signing him yesterday aswell. Shame those high up at Celtic felt they could bully Motherwell into a lower fee...

Nah, that will have been legit while they do the whole unveiling thing. I'm happy we're keeping him, but gutted for him as he's missing a few months.
Estragon
I don't know how the Celtic clowns will attempt to spin this as anything other than a total embarrassment, but I look forward to finding out...

Ross.
Has there been confirmation on what the injury actually is and how long he will be out? Outcome to the whole thing suits absolutely no one.

Kyle
STV tend to be pretty good when it comes to matters of St Johnstone so I'd be inclined to say this is roughly correct.
