So fair fucks to the club and the management team for that. Our first team squad (including 3 long term injured players plus Morris) comes in at 27 players. Probably fair to call Johnson an incoming as he's straight into the first team/first team squad and will be on the bench at least moving forward. Could perhaps argue the same about Dunachie. Who of Goss or Slattery drop now to accommodate Butcher? Personally I’d drop Goss but reckon it will be Slattery to have some balance in the midfield. If Slattery stays in the team I’m hoping we see him playing without the pressure of trying to protect the back 4. But at least with these two additions you can see a potential path to safety. Today remains huge though.
