I’m not sure that it has. Clarke had the opportunity to give him a cap in friendlies in March and he didn’t. I think Scotland will take every last minute we can get out of Gordon. It kind of puts us in the same situation we had with Devante Cole/Wigan where we wanted to extend but they ended up taking him back before palming him off to Doncaster Rovers on a short-term permanent for an "undisclosed" fee.
