One by a fair margin was not as bad as the other. Whether that's "worked out" or not, I don't know.

Obviously didn't work out for you either after you re-hired the other one following a sabattical in Englandshire

Did a job then regressed

We don't steal managers from scottish clubs. We don't even take their cast offs.

The last time a motherwell manager was employed as another Scottish club's boss before managing us was in the 1980s.

In terms of someone who had managed in the top flight I think it was Bobby Watson. Or Tommy McLean for someone who had managed in Scotland before.  McGhee was a reappointment.

Oh, I think it's cool, just didn't know if something had happened a decade ago where one club stole the other's manager or something.

IIRC the Paisley puddle drinkers on here used to go on about some game where they brought a big crowd to Fir Park about 40 years ago.

Small time.

You shouldn't have mentioned that.

I miss Captain Sensible.

did he rage quit?

Don't really know.

He disappeared like snow off a dyke.

Was good for a laugh at the time though especially when he claimed there were 15000 Midden fans in the ground that day which wouldn't have  left any room for us.

There were officially 26,709 fans that day. Many more kids probably got in via lift overs at the turnstyles as was the norm in those days.

Were you there?

I was. Your team kicked anything that moved that day in a black and white strip.

I have no idea what your home attendances were that year, but that must surely be one of your highest.

Maybe you can provide evidence to the contrary.

Can you not even answer some simple questions?

Were you there that day?

Do you have any evidence of higher crowds that season at Fir Park?

We are thunderdome.

Your team are so last century. After all that was the last time you won a major honour. Thirty years since you won anything.

Thatcher had just left office and the Berlin Wall had only been down a year. Jeezo.

Two visits by Rangers only managed 15,000 each game https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1976–77_Rangers_F.C._season

When you beat Celtic to Fir Park in April 1977 you managed less than 14,000.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1976–77_Celtic_F.C._season

Face facts. We brought a massive support that day. There were over 4,000 locked out.

What was your average home attendance that year if you don't mind me asking.

You can work it out from here. http://www.stmirrenprogrammes.co.uk/StMirren/STM_Prog_Season.php?season=1976

After walloping the current Premier League leaders Dundee Utd in January 4-1 cup fever took hold of the Paisley public. That’s why there was a huge crowd at Fir Park.
