The ITK scattergun quote-tweeter journo man has yet another exciting(?) update. Not got a clue how a loan would make sense for Wigan right now, especially if they lose their appeal.

Pure guesswork from me but an initial loan with us taking his wage and an option to buy depending on what happens with Kipré might help them out?

Doesn't help them in terms of cash on the barrelhead just now but if we shave points off our sell on it might work further down the line.

Loan?

Strange from Wigan's side

Probably we will be paying a chunk of his wages. There might have been no potnetial offers to buy him so they are trying to save as much as they can.

I think a loan for now but it will be permanent once they officially owe us money when Kipre is sold.

We can't pay money up front on the promise there is a fee coming for Kipre because that carries too much risk.

Last season I was reasonably confident in our back line and worried about going forward. This season it looks like we have an abundance of forward options but will be cobbling together a back 4. We could be in big trouble with a single injury to big Dec or Grimmy with no real replacement.

When is the ball ever going to be back there?

No real knowledge of him myself, but going by the comments from Shrewsbury and Morecambe fans Lang has the potential to be an excellent signing.

Some pretty solid signings by Robinson and confident of a comfortable top six finish, with a real chance to push for top 4 again. Strength in depth enough to be optimistic of an interesting and exciting season ahead.

Gallagher at the back. Turnbull & Polworth in midfield alongside Campbell. Then a front six of Hylton, Hastie, Watt, Long, Lang & White.

You're either winning the league or getting relegated. Transfer windows like you've had dont end in the middle ground.

So this is where we're standing:

OUT:
First team: Gillespie (Newcastle), Tait (St Mirren), Ferguson, Hartley, Livingstone, Ilic, Manzinga, Ndjoli (loan ended), Aarons (loan ended) = 9
u20s: Hemfrey, Brown (Albion Rovers), Kettings, Starrs = 4

IN:
Lamie, White, McGinley, Fox, O'Hara (loan made permanent), Hastie (season loan - Rangers), Lang (season loan - Wigan) = 7

Extended:
First team: Dunne, Maguire, Long  = 3
Reserves: Hussain, Morrison, Robinson = 3

Going by the official that's Morrison, Semple and MacIver promoted to the first team group.
