Carroll confirmed as out for the season

That's a total shiter - I think he's quietly been one of the best players in the team this season. I thought Tait looked sharp the other night, which was a welcome change from some of his recent performances - and I guess he'll be our left back for the rest of the season now...

The news on Gallacher, Long and (especially) Turnbull is obviously excellent...

If nothing else it should mean Tait will get a run of games now rather than just being dropped in now and again.

Absolute Yasssss! to the Gallagher, Long and (obviously) Turnbull news...

How long does it take to recover from a rid neck?

I keep seeing folk touting Aarons for left wing back role.

I don't care if he can/has played there before, he's the closest thing to an out ball we have and I don't want to limit what is an already limited final thrid of the pitch.

So fucking stop that. I'd rather see him play upfront himself even if he was shiiiiiiiiiite at it.

Don't get me wrong, Carroll has had a decent, if perhaps unspectacular, season and it has been good that we finally seem to have exercised the ghosts of not being able to find a left-footed player to replace Stevie Hammell, but I am totally fine with Richard Tait playing left-back until the end of the season.

It's one of my least favourite moronic Motherwell fan shouts when people say "I like Richard Tait but he can't play on the left" when he's played most of his Motherwell career on the left.

It'll be interesting to see if Robbo puts his money where his mouth is regarding Hartley and Mugabi with his team selection.

As a neutral I'm buzzing to see him back, desperate that he can reach the heights he reached before

Aw yeah of course. I don't think we should see him until mid March if not later. Let him find his feet and hopefully pick up not far behind where he left off.

Let's also get him signed up for another year or two.

O'Hara was ridiculous. Was popping up everywhere and I was absolutely convinced he was going to net us the winner.
I thought Watt brought a lot to the table as well tbh.

Watt and McIver both were excellent I thought second half, McIver is so good in the air.... Although we gloss over him losing his man for their second I believe

I actually am willing to give Maciver the benefit of the doubt for losing his man, he should be tighter but for me, why he is marking Obika is the question that should be asked, why are hartley or Mugabi not marking him rather than leaving him to a young attacker built like a fiver?

Turnbull, who came close to joining Celtic last summer before failing a medical, has had preventative knee surgery and Robinson said it "brings a big smile to my face when I watch him in training".

"He is full training, he has played 11 v 11, so we are just waiting for the final OK. I can't wait for that," added the manager"

Absolutely nobody can convince me otherwise to the fact that this must mean he is absolutely causing it in training.
