Archie McSquackle
Yeah, he just wasn't particularly good. Did get a few games but was very much a fringe player.
Archie McSquackle
BBC website is carrying an article saying Turnbull's operation went well and he could be playing this year. Robinson is quoted as saying we will hopefully see his value on the pitch and receive his true value in a few months which suggests we expect to sell him in January.
Desp
He also spent most of his Motherwell career pumping a local teenager* he met in The Moorings. Fair play to him. *she was over 18.

steelmen
Maybe that’s why he was so slow on the park. That’s what I remember most about him, he seemed to want ages on the ball and seemed like he was running in treacle.
Mitch
Can anyone tell me how good or poor Ben Hall was during his time at Motherwell please? I noticed this article in the Courier and was wondering if he would be a decent signing. He had been on loan at Notts County. My mate is a season ticket holder at County and wasn’t particularly impressed by him. I’m sure he lost his place in the side.I thought he looked decent when thrown in, but doesn’t look like he has kicked on.
capt_oats
Christian signs.... I see we're going with him being a "wide player" and that “Christian brings us another option to play anywhere across the forward three,”. Come on lads everyone knows he's a left back. Call him "versatile" and "can play in a number of positions across the field"...or something. Edited July 12, 2019 by capt_oats

Can't believe you're asking about Ben Hall when there's a fake Tony Straker training top in the wild.

Better... stronger... faster... By spooky coincidence, back in those days six million dollars was almost exactly £3.25 million. * * Warning - this fact may be entirely made up for comic effect.

welldaft
I read in an online article in the Herald Robinson talking about looking to extend his contract beyond the end of the season, which I would be all in favour of. Also for the 1st time a direct quote stating that Gboly will not be returning as he has told Robinson he is looking at other options. Hope none of them involve a team in the same league. I liked Gboly but hopefully we have replaced him with other options.

Full quote here: Quote One man who won’t be coming back to Fir Park it seems though is Gboly Ariyibi, who spent the second half of last season with Motherwell on loan from Nottingham Forest. “I wouldn’t think that is a possibility, no,” said Robinson. “I’ve tried very, very hard, but Gboly has indicated to me that he is looking at other things. “We’ve got wide players in, and I’m very happy with the players we have.” Edited July 13, 2019 by capt_oats

capt_oats
Apologies to Graeme McGarry for basically just C&P his piece but here's Robinson's quote re: his contract. Quote Meanwhile, Motherwell manager Stephen Robinson says that he had no contact with Doncaster Rovers after being linked with a move to the English League One side. Rovers have since appointed Darren Moore as their new boss, but Robinson says he wants to extend his contract at Fir Park rather than move anywhere else, having started talks with the club over a new deal. “I never spoke to anybody [else],” Robinson said. “There’s no reason for me to be looking elsewhere at this moment in time. “I want to get things sorted, but we’re in the very early stages of that and I’m sure it will get sorted out. We’ve spoken briefly and that is ongoing as it stands at the minute. My contract is up at the end of the season and of course I’d like to get it sorted soon. I’m very happy here. “It would be nice to get a bit of security and to give that bit of security to everyone else going forward.”
