tongue_tied_danny
Depends what sort of food you're into. There's quite a few decent places in Dundee these days. Castlehill, The Meat House or D'Arcy Thompson's would be my preference although I'm sure others will have different suggestions..
Ludo*1
Lot of people like the Antalia and Bellini's. As above, if it's Indian food you're into, look no further than Sunny's.
Paris Hilltoon
Goto the tapas place in the ferry
Sooky
Don Michele on the Perth Road is a lovely Italian that I'd recommend.
Deefiant
If your looking to impress then castle hill or d'arcy Thompson. Kobee teppenyaki is decent as well. For Chinese I like the Manchurian. Loads of good Indians about. 172 at the Caird getting rave reviews as well but never been myself.
SweeperDee
Lot of people like the Antalia and Bellini's. As above, if it's Indian food you're into, look no further than Sunny's. Antalia is closed is it not? The one at the bottom of Crighton street? Anyway for Indian, Sunny's or the Balaka on the Perth road are very good. Castlehill is fine dining, bit pricey but the food is outstanding. Italian food; look no further than Bellini's it's fantastic. Sol y Sombras is a tapas restaurant in Broughty Ferry; great value, not my type of food really but it's still very good. And as been pointed out, Kobee is tremendous. Deefiant
You'll not get sol y sambra at such short notice tbh. It is fucking superb though
SweeperDee
Kobee is not to shabby. The balaka is not bad. 172 at the caird? Where is this? Opposite the Dundee Uni campus, literally just down the road from Meathouse if you're going towards town.

tongue_tied_danny
172 at the caird? Where is this? This building here, across from the uni. I've never been yet but I've heard it's pretty good.

tree house tam
Lot of people like the Antalia and Bellini's. As above, if it's Indian food you're into, look no further than Sunny's. Antalia is shut with fire damage/ insurance job.
Moo
No point in suggesting the tapas place in the ferry, it's basically booked out for months. Shit hot though.
Broony88
Cheers for all the suggestions having a browse at them all on Tripadvisor and the like. Bellinis looking favourite but like the look of the tapas place and Don Michele. The missus will have the final shout as its her birthday and she can be a bit fussy.
