If you really want him pay us or move on do you not think he is worth paying a fee for. That’s because Norwich offered £350,000 And we accepted it, if anything going to QOTS most likely regressed him. So you should probably pay us too.

There is even recent photographic evidence of home “supporters” at Cappielow wearing Celtic and Rangers tops. A fcuking joke club. Last time they won a major honour was 100 years ago. Last time they were in the top league and relegated Thatcher was still in power. I reckon Toby must be @virginton. Funny as f**k, just went and laughed at it on youtube in all it's glory Funny as f**k haha
DiegoDiego
we are probably waiting for the money for Rudden and Cooper and then settle Fitzpatricks feeOr as Dire Straits once sang, money for Rudden and Fitzpatrick's free.
ManBearPig
Morton are a no mark club desperate to generate a rivalry with the mighty Thistle to make them relevant. Sad.

Fuctifano
Report on their website, Graham and Smith (!) with the goals for us. Sneddon, Tiffoney and Bannigan all started but no Lawless, Holt, or Dowds in the squad. Was a mixture of their first team and academy - McKinnon played for them so the loan hasn't gone through yet and Williamson wasn't in their squad. Bishop Briggs
Report on today's game here - https://www.rangers.co.uk/article/rangers-kick-preseason-off-with-thistle-match/29BZPWmP01aTYCsBK3xw81. Our line up was Sneddon, Muirhead, Brownlie, Akinola, Milne, Docherty, Bannigan Turner, Smith, Tiffoney, Graham. McMillan was on the bench with two trialists and five apprentices. Mitchell, Holt, Lawless and Dowds were not in the squad. Cole McKinnon was on the Sevco bench.
Mip1999
A few questions about Albion Rovers 1, Partick Thistle 11 I was at this game. I remember we were rotten in the first half.. so much the Thistle directors in the stand (was iy Hamilton?) with us were getting it. That died off in the 2nd half for obvious reasons. http://partickthistleahistory.wikifoundry.com/season-by-season/season-1993-94/v-albion-rovers-lc1993/ 2 things.. 1. is the Des McKewon for Albion that Des? 2. Main thing. I remember reading the programme. The Rovers keeper was just coming back from a year off. Head injury.. brain damage? So we stick 11 past him! It always made me think the 11-1 kind of sucked I wonder what happened to him? incidentally I remember Rovers goal... Kinnaird and Nelson messed up between themselves for no reason... typical Interested in any thoughts
Fuctifano
Yes it was that Des McKeown. I think there had been a bit of bad blood between Lambie and Tommy Gemmell in the build up so there was no "foot off the gas" when it got to 5 or 6, possibly combined with the first half performance resulting in the players getting a bollocking, and with only 2 subs back then you couldn't flood the bench with weans to bring on. I don't remember too much more as it was nearly 30 years ago but it was a rare midweek game I was allowed to go to at that age as school didn't go back til the following week. It was at Fir Park with everyone in the main stand- the 9 second half goals were scored in front of an empty away end- presumably as Cliftonhill wasn't fit to hold 1500 at that point. I do also remember getting home to hear the score being read out on the news, and then the next night hoping Arbroath would hang on to 1-9 vs Celtic so we were the only team to score double figures. I'll take an 11-1 humping of a team over a 1-1 draw away to Culter any day.
Mip1999
yes, the Celtic game the next night.. felt like they were trying to one up us didn't know about the Tommy Gemmel thing... i can see in the link a reference to the Cowdenbeath cup game hanging overhead... was at that shambles too Edited July 2 by Mip1999
jagfox
Ian Cameron's four goal is the only one I have witnessed in the flesh. I wasn't one of the faithful few when Billy Dodds scored against East Fife on his loan from Chelsea around 87/88. Also, I did not make Doolan's haul against the Accies for a reason I cannot remember. I bought a bok during lock down about big defeats in Scottish football and there is a bit about the game. I don't think Gemmell lasted long after the game. I actually met him years later on the day of Zenit vs Rangers and he wasn't impressed when I said I was a Thistle fan haha Even less so when I said penalties were a lottery.
