Fuctifano
Tiffoney since he went off injured against Arbroath in the league cup Arbroath (league)-missed injured Cove - started but subbed after 70 mins Falkirk -missed injured Morton - came on as sub at HT ICT - started but subbed at HT Hamilton - came on as sub at 59 minutes Aberdeen - started but subbed at HT QP - started but subbed after 48 minutes. He's clearly not fit and could probably do with 2 or 3 weeks out but the wider issue is we're back to last season where none of his replacements have been any use so we end up playing him more than he should and probably make it worse. It's been slightly better than last year because Lawless was playing well on the other wing but he's lost form as well. The attack has dried up as well, we haven't scored a goal from open play since the Morton game, all 3 have been from set pieces. As our defensive stats show, these goals count just the same as open play goals but we have lost something going forward.

This is generally how McCall always manages injuries - happened countless times with us.

However, it begs an obvious question - why hasn't Aidan Fitzpatrick taken advantage of the opportunity to cement a starting place? Benidorm
Thistle Weir grassroots the latest shitshow leaking out from the secret service, sorry Firhill. It's what Colin would have wanted.

OnlyteaminGlasgow
So Colin Weir wanted the club to never fall into the hands of dodgy owners, well....... I am half expecting this board and the Trust to flog Firhill in cahoots with each other and bank the cash!
Hammer Jag
Unsurprisingly, some parents of the Thistle Weir players are refuting the claims made by the club on Twitter.
Pie Of The Month
If you ignore the usual weirdos who either defend or attack anything the club do on social media the replies on facebook and twitter from those who were actually involved would suggest the statement the club put out is pretty much nonsense.
Nightmare
Seen a few more reactions from academy players’ parents when scrolling through Twitter there. Why have the club issued a statement which appears to be a complete fabrication? Surely they’d have known people affected would be quick to refute it (and rightly so)? Are we at the point with these losers in charge that they’re just going to take the Donald Trump approach of brazenly lying and not giving a shit who knows or will call them out for it? Low is dangerous, and if you’re still backing her regime at this point you seriously need to wake up.

I think there's some rationale to your question but in fairness, Fitzpatrick has only started 3 of the 8 games Fuctifano listed, we've won 2 and the third was the Falkirk clusterfuck which largely rests with McCall. Continually playing Tiffoney both risks Tiffoney's fitness and prevents Fitzpatrick getting anything close to a run in the team. Anyway it's all moot if Holt is out for 8 weeks. Any word on Docherty?

Docherty is 50/50 for Ayr game apparently. At least it’s nothing serious with him, would guess that even if he doesn’t make it at Somerset he’ll be back for the weekend. Wait, I thought we were "Partick Thistle Family Club"? Surely that wasn't just cringey PR guff... but, how does it square with parents being enraged by PTFC dissolving a team with immediate effect and sending children home in tears, and the board / Low allegedly lying about what funding was provided, and by claiming that they offered to continue it for the rest of the season? It's all very confusing. Edited October 25, 2022 by VictorOnopko
Ad Lib
Something that various of Thistle’s custodians seem repeatedly just not to “get” is that people will respect difficult and controversial decisions, even if they vehemently disagree with them, if you’re just open, honest and timely in the way you communicate it.
