Didn't take much from today's game other than we need reinforcements in this windows and hopefully one or two before next Saturday.
At least the Stinlar keeper kept the JHS from going onto rigor mortus.
Folk ejecting spittle as they thought he was time wasting even though the ball was stopped for substitutions on no less than six occasions [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23]

Positives:

1. In the hat

2. The home kit looks marginally less bad in person than in photos

3. McLaughlin had a bright spell

Negatives:

1. Very little penetration of the Stranraer defence

2. Bannigan taking a knock

3. Osman clearly isn’t fully fit

4. Barton did not look good as one or two centre-backs

5. Very pedestrian play

6. Kevin Nisbet is not good enough for Scotland’s second tier

7. Booth was blowing out his arse

8. Ryan Edwards poor when he came on

A few things I took from the game:

Lawless is far more effective on the left and Spittal on is more effective on the right

Elliot just needs to learn how/when to beat his man and the RB/RWB spot is his to lose

Unless we bring in someone specific, we will lose a lot of goals to headers in the box (Keown won't rectify this)

We are fucked long dick style if Doolan gets a bad injury

Edwards is a slot machine on legs, you know what you want from him but rarely get it

Our starting 11 is pretty solid, the bench needs some serious reinforcements

One of Archie's few failings is persisting for far too long with youngsters who are evidently not good enough. See David Wilson, and now Kevin Nisbet.

That was absolutely brutal today. Fair play to Stranraer who shitfested it an absolute belter. We didn't even look that bothered about wanting to break them down. Only positives I took from today were that Bannigan was quality again, his injury (hopefully) doesn't look that bad, and Neil McLaughlin played well when he came on.

The only positive today was clearly their number 7 slowly coming to the realisation, as big Abdul slowly rose to his feet, that he was closer to the swing of his no doubt sizeable "wee Abdul" than he was to nutting him. You could see the regret from the JHS.

Other than that, that was fucking brutal in all counts.

Yes, that was very funny.
