Which is what we badly miss. Don’t mean to piss on anyone’s parade, but if Foster is the marquee signing of the summer, we’re in for more drudgery and misery. Foster is a good signing, especially for this level, I’m surprised we’ve managed to get him, to be honest. So I disagree with the misery point, however the original point about pace is correct, we don’t have much at all, ideally we need another wide man of Blair Lyons pace (I believe he’s pretty decent in that department) or indeed an attacking midfielder with pace to burn as well. But still a fair while to go in the window, so we’ll see what it holds.

Pie Of The Month
Going by the "2 keepers, 19 outfield" note on the board behind McCall in his interview with the official site it looks like we're aiming for another 6 outfield players and a goalkeeper.

JudgeMudge
I wonder what the figure would have to be for the whole process to have been worthwhile.

Doesn't way in with that much in terms of assists or goals. Seems to keep himself in good shape and from what I've seen a decent defender which can't be said about Williamson so far in a Jag's shirt. Shame Williamson resembles a broken Pinocchio most of the time. He seems a decent lad but I guess this season is a last chance saloon for him. Interesting that Foster has played over 100 goals at left back too so provides cover there too. Foster will get you more than his fair share of assists. A really good signing for you guys.

Seen on the QotS page that some fans think him more of a threat in the centre? Had him down as more of a winger type. Please tell me he had a bit of pace about him cause our team right now is slower than a week in the jail. The best games I have seen him play were in the play offs last season against Montrose and Raith Rovers.

It seems like the pace issue is being addressed, with Lyons already in, and now Murray signed. Not everyone needs to be really fast, it's more about limiting the amount that are really slow.
