Or not getting relegated for the third time in four years. If we're so shite (which we are) and you're on here mocking us, why not take the bet? Easy way to get some money for the charity of your choice, no? You're not confident enough in your own team to take that bet are you?
Pie Of The Month
That's Zanatta away too now. *shrugs*
Reid
More good news. Had 2 good games and was a complete shitebag.
Sting777
Good to get these two off the wage bill without any pay offs!! Hopefully gives us a better chance of holding on to the January signings!
oneteaminglasgow
Zanatta was all the worst bits of Blair Spittal without the occasional end product.
JagsCG
Zanatta, being a good player, is a bit of a footballing myth. He has the occasional (use the term loosely) bit of quality, but on the whole, he’s not got nearly enough (or any) fight and battle in him to win a division, or even get promoted, which is what our aim should be, so not really a loss. McCall has a good record with developing players, but they are all players who are willing to be helped, I never got the impression from Zanatta, that he was willing to change. Midlife Crisis
So this weekend, Players who have contributed f**k all to the club and are therefore totally complicit in getting us relegated jump ship at the first opportunity. Says a lot about their character. Zanatta wouldn’t have cut it in League 1 anyway. Another duff Caldwell signing. Hopeless.

Firhill_Basin
Junior Jags not surprisingly taking it quite badly. Very similar to their boy Spittal. Gutless and shite. You need more than the right analogue stick to be a good footballer sadly.

Also seemed capable of some goals. Though banzo and oware were worse than him last season. Though they both seem to be staying
Pie Of The Month
There can't be many Caldwell signings left if you exclude those extended for a month for the furlough scheme. Are Williamson and Mansell all that will be left?

Our central midfield of Bannigan, Docherty and Niang certainly lacks creativity. Gordon might be a good option off the bench if we need a goal, but hes an absolute passenger at all other times. Wouldnt mind us going for a Ross Forbes - Joe McKee type player to dictate the tempo and have a few cracks from range as I imagine we'll have far more of the ball next season compared to last 7 or 8 years.

Gordon doesn’t work as a CM, because he can’t defend or even keep possession well, but, he’d be much better in behind the striker, and for his lack of game time this season, he’s scored a fair amount of goals. Wouldn’t be devastated if he left, wouldn’t mind if he stayed, play to his strengths and he’ll be good.

We need an attacking midfielder to join them. Docherty, a good tackling midfielder, Banzo’s a possession-keeping, game flowing type midfielder and Niang is a defensive mid (I think), so we really need someone with strong attacking intent to run in behind and so on.
SteelJag
With Lyons coming in it's a relief to see Zanatta go honestly. Probably on a sizeable wage and has no dig about him. Was great on his debut and has been anonymous since. Fox was poor last season and with most of us wanting Sneddon to start anyway its convenient for him too leave. Excited to see who McCall signs, desperate for a playmaking cm and a right winger.
jaggyness
For whenever the season starts, assuming that all the remaining under contract players stay we need, as a minimum, a gk, a rb, ch, a creative midfielder and 3 attacking midfielders/wingers
Sting777
I assume the club has put some sort of deadline on the players that have relegation release clauses in their contracts because, in this climate, it makes no sense for Fox or Zanatta to leave. They could go months before getting another club and as a result will have no wages until they get signed up again Edited June 7, 2020 by Sting777
colliedug
A good creative cm is a must but the plus side at the moment is it's a buyer's market at the moment as there is so many players getting released throughout the divisions due to teams cutting their cloth, you will obviously having players out there who still want to be full time (willing to reduce their wage) opposed to going part time looking for a gig so we could have a good window as we are getting rid of some big earners from the club as well

But if the rumours of leagues one and two not starting until Jan or not happening next season at all, then anyone remotely decent will be signed unless you go down the loan route
