I remember it being in the media at the time Graham signed, but I was skeptical then and still am now about the level of truth there. Especially if the source is indeed our gaffer, who lets be honest, likes to play up to the media and isn’t always truthful when doing so. Considering our manager publicly complained he hadnt been allowed to even talk to players about signing about a week after you signed Graham, then went on to sign multiple players on deadline day and not one was a striker, then I'd suggest the link to us was a fabrication.

Thumper
It would actually be very funny if reconstruction did save you, only for you to go down again next season, thus allowing Zac Rudden the dubious honour of having been relegated from this league three seasons in a row, twice with the same team in consecutive seasons.

Fitbafollower
Will Docherty still arrive on a pre contract from Ayr on the wages Thistle offered? or can he pull out of pre contract?

Just a guess I would think he probably could if he wanted as I doubt demotion to League one would be in the contract, but no idea if he will. Again just guessing but I think Tidser with Falkirk had the option of staying in the championship or going to league one with Falkrik

Fitbafollower
Thistle managed to assemble a team on lower wages with McNamara and won the league there is no reason McCall can’t do the same again as McNamara / Archibald’s team in 2912/13 season that won championship Edited May 19, 2020 by Fitbafollower

Probably has the option to not go, but he did already say, if he had to play in League 1, with Thistle he would.
BdenJag
Steven Anderson not getting a new deal at St Johnstone. Reckon he would be worth a punt for League 1.

No reason at all? How about: Falkirk Airdrie Montrose East Fife .......and last but by no means least the effect of Coronavirus on all aspects of the game and on all clubs, including yours? It means several of the Jags squad will now lose several hundred pounds-a-week off their wages. A lot of the top players’ contracts had clauses for cuts if they were relegated, while others players have get-out clauses if the club were relegated." Very tough for the players but good news for the club's finances. Does anyone know which players have get-out clauses?

Possibly the 3 long-term signing from January, and the long-term contract renewals, so, (Graham, Rudden, Brownlie, Banzo, O’Ware and Penrice) not sure if the likes of Fox and Zanatta would have them too, expect they might very well have.
