The Partick Thistle thread

Every penny of my “football money” will be spent at my club from today onwards unless a favourable reconstruction comes through. Joined Centenary Draw last week, will get a season ticket tomorrow (haven’t had one since the 80s)  No more away games for me. Might be detrimental to the support of the players at away games but afraid I cannot give my money to certain teams. Exceptions are ICT, East Fife and all other NO voters.
Big Team found.

I wonder how many games we could have had in hand, with the same decision taken. We could’ve been 1 point off the bottom with two or three games in hand and they’d still have sent us down.

Well no, because in that case your average points per game would not be the lowest in the division.

Was that average points decider rule in place when we all kicked off the season last year, aye?  If so, no complaints here, we must have known the rules and we're down fair and square. Can't see what all the fuss is about tbh.

As you know, it wasn't.

Instead, it's been arrived at to settle this mess.

Are you seriously joining in with the implication made by JudgeMudge, that this method has been chosen as part of a plan to stitch up Thistle?

Brownlie scored the winner for QoS v Partick then after having agreed a pre contract for next season it seems McCall did Queens a favour paying a few £k  to get him in mid season & only play 5 games..

Canny see the top league voting 11-1 on favour of reconstruction so the idea will never go ahead looks like it'll be a league 1 battle for Thistle with Falkirk...
