How do they define a recognised first team player?

Doesn't go into any detail but I imagine young lads who've appeared for the first team (even as an unused sub) would count towards it. I'm assuming the 2 names Fuctifano mentions a few posts above fall into that category.

I believe it’s correct, but that the rules are relatively relaxed about what constitutes a “first team”.

Danny Lennon played himself for Clyde’s first team last night, for example.

Preparation for his forthcoming Thistle Legends friendly at Maryhill Juniors and, presumably, Kris Doolan's testimonial?

Looks like it'll be a good occasion, looking at the respective sides that Celtic side will get pumped.

Surprised so many clubs have let players go away and play the day after they will have played a game though.

There’s enough players that most of them will barely play half an hour anyway. I’m not exactly expecting Erskine fells Morelos levels of glorious blood and studs.

That was, however, quite a glorious moment.

He clearly misses him so how is it glorious?

It's hard to criticise anyone who flys into glorious tackles against the ****.

It's about more than football.

Correct. It is part of a greater moral cause. If you’re not studs up and wildly lunging at a *** you are not a footballer and you are not a human being.
