Open Day Q&A summary.

Firmly lock away that expectation that we are going to make a flurry of signings.
Apart from a couple of diddies I reckon this is it.

Just read the summary and am utterly staggered by this:

We had hoped that we wouldn’t need to sign any more midfielders but, as everyone knows, Stuart Bannigan has had a knockback after a great pre-season."

Is he having a fucking laugh? Even if Bannigan was fit, we're still short. And that's ignoring the fact we have Shea Gordon who looks like he should be playing in the Firhill Cup.

It's not a massive leap then to assume that, prior to Bannigan's knock, there's been absolutely no scouting performed to fill a position that has needed filled for over a year. That is fucking criminal.

Folie à deux-
A psychiatric syndrome in which symptoms of a delusional belief and sometimes hallucinations are transmitted from one individual to another.

We will be competitive, Bannigan will return to his 2016 best and Shea Gordon & Sean McGinty are quality.

If he’s relying on Bannigan coming back.. who is only under contract until August anyway then he doesn’t need sacked. He needs kicked square in the Baws !

Learning lessons from last season was something he said and I thought well maybe he deserves a wee chance to put it right. Then I went to the Morton and Ayr games.

Same shite formation with players out of position and out there depth. The fact he keeps signing players that don’t fit into the system he tries to play is fucking mind boggling.

He doesn’t know where to play Spittal, Christie Elliot just plays anywhere. He blatantly said we only have one striker but Miles Storey can fill in there ? Wasn’t he a striker in his past life ?

Then we sign Storer who was supposed to be a striker ? And he’s decided that he’s also more of a midfielder?

WTF

Just out the cinema...have we signed anyone?

Yes, Stath's agreed to join Thistle every time there's a game against a team that fields a prehistoric shark.

Now that the English window has closed, does that mean Keown will be staying until at least January since no other Scottish team will be able to afford his £25k a week wages?

Not necessarily. If s club wants him, Thistle could cancel his contract and he becomes a free agent or be taken on loan up until August 31st.
