mrcat1990
Archie was saying a few weeks ago that after our start where we seemed to keep hitting the bar and post we were forced to change it up, keep things tight at the back. Not the prettiest but I'm sure we would all prefer this than continuing on as we were and ending up where United are. If we bolster our attack in the summer and keep the defence more or less the same then hopefully we can stay solid as well as scoring a few more goals. I'm ok with grim football for reward but all in I'm unsure if we've got much more. To be honest I'm going full fickle football fan mode here as was crying for this last season, but on paper seems a touch futile if the gain isn't there. Although with a more deep squad there is something to build on right enough. Either way top league another season which by Thistle standards really is gid shit.
dave.j
It hasn't been a memorable season at all. Too many forgettable games and inconsistent performances. I hope next year Archie settles on his best side and sticks with it, rather than chopping and changing, as was happening for the first part of the season. In fairness it was torn apart by injuries, suspensions and a coke head on the sidelines up until October.

TheMessiah
Scully and Barlow out of contract eh...interesting. Is McMillan still under contract while he's suspended?
Fuctifano
Scully and Barlow out of contract eh...interesting. Is McMillan still under contract while he's suspended? Gallacher will almost certainly stay as GK coach/ 3rd choice keeper as he has been this season- you're more than welcome to Scully. McMillan unsurprisingly had his contract terminated, think his ban is up in December.

Pie Of The Month
He didn't get banned until September this season but he was long gone from the squad by that point. Have we been hampered much more than other teams by injury and suspensions? We've shitfested most of the season regardless of who was fit tbh.
dave.j
I dont think the ongoing problems with McMillan were a help. Id say we were hampered quite a bit by injuries and suspensions until october. We certainly suffered from repeatedly having players red carded. Edited May 8, 2016 by dave.j
