forameus
Could we have a regular pre-match event where we re-enact the battle of Ashton Lane? With Kingsley playing Paton, an invited fan playing Mark Wilson, and Paton playing the role of both Zaluska and Chris McCluskey. Do it at half-time too, in case anyone missed it.

Smurph
I'd rather Paul Cairney tbh
Maine
How is Paton still so outrageously one footed? Surely playing football every day you would develop the skills to use your other foot.
archie guevara
Looks like United have suddenly remembered how to play football. FFS.
mrcat1990
Looks like United have suddenly remembered how to play football. FFS. Hardly unusual for relegated teams to suddenly start performing. Doesn't bode well for us admittedly.
Dr Koop
Paul Paton can f**k right off. I wouldn't employ him to wipe the bird shit off the seats. c**t. Is there anyone at Firhill employed to do that?
Reid
Paton would be a terrible signing.
cilitbang
I'd personally take Paton or even Rankin over Welsh

South Lanarkshire Jag
Fucking yasssssssssssssss! Four consecutive seasons in the top flight for the first time since the 1990s. What a time to be alive!

mrcat1990
We've fucking made it. What an utterly bizarre season. Unsure my £300 investment in a season ticket was worth it but oh well. Absolutely relieved we're done and ok though.
Griff Sheridan
It hasn't been a memorable season at all. Too many forgettable games and inconsistent performances. I hope next year Archie settles on his best side and sticks with it, rather than chopping and changing, as was happening for the first part of the season.
Fuctifano
Aye, today's been great but highlights outside Ayrshire have been few and far between, and another massively disappointing season in the cups. We'd all have taken 10th minimum at the end of September so credit where it's due to the management team for that, but with the Orcs coming up there's one less safe place available next year. On the plus side, I'm more confident with the debt being cleared we can compete with the teams around us for players and the management team have shown they can unearth gems like Osman and Dumbuya- we really need more going forward as Dools can't do it all on his own, and I do wonder where we'd have finished if we had Lyle Taylor instead of Pogba for this season as the alternative to him. mrcat1990
One thing worth discussing is that we sort of learnt to play defensive, which is obviously less entertaining, but really we look unlikely to gain anything from it bar a short but excellent period mid season. Rather we went back to FUCKITYOLO for entertainment value if we're just going to finish same place again. Ps don't want to pander to QLP's "cup final" bull but the 5-2 game was as good as our season got. Edited May 7, 2016 by mrcat1990

Ps don't want to pander to QLP's "cup final" bull but the 5-2 game was as good as our season got. Archie was saying a few weeks ago that after our start where we seemed to keep hitting the bar and post we were forced to change it up, keep things tight at the back. Not the prettiest but I'm sure we would all prefer this than continuing on as we were and ending up where United are. If we bolster our attack in the summer and keep the defence more or less the same then hopefully we can stay solid as well as scoring a few more goals.
