How's Stevie Saunders doing for you (as he put us out)? Couldn't get a break at us, was constantly injured.

My MOTM today.

We were so much better today when Robson, Palmer and Mansell came on. They gave the team the enthusiasm that was sadly lacking in the first half.
Jones, Gordon (although he was considerably more involved today) and Da Vita are a worry.
There's three more to come, in the shape of Slater, Austin (is he injured?) and Harkins so it will be interesting to see where they fit in.

I'm starting to like that huffy, soor-faced, baldly auld b*****d Miller. Does that make me a bad person.?

Austin should be fit for Friday and he is meant to be scorching the grass at training according to one of the players

I just meant the way he was playing today. He had a few wee goes at Gardyne in particular. Pushes or niggles off the ball, causing him to lose his shit while he just shrugged. Cracking wee player.

Noticed this in previous games and I’m a big fan of it. Opposition players will get frustrated playing against him like Gardyne did today.

Was solid enough and did a job last season. He’s been dreadful this season IMO but was brilliant today. Looks like Caldwell prefers him to O’Ware atm.

Have we withheld toilet facilities too? 🤔

Did Spittal get abuse to make him act like that?  I honestly didn't hear anything, particularly not to have him acting like that.  Brilliant wee sequence though - I wouldn't wish an injury on anyone, but when he went down soon after, that would've been a brilliant time to score with him near the North.

Also didn't realise just how big he was.  Expected him being the young player he was to have a bit of a smaller frame, but he's fucking massive.

No excuses now for the board not to sanction a couple of signings before the window closes!

My personal thought is he will be a big player this season for he's getting stronger with every game and there's definitely a player in there. I hope he doesn't me wrong

His best game so far. An assist and a couple of decent efforts. When he gets off the mark he can go on to be our top scorer I reckon.

Don't have the know how to link it but there's a sizeable article on Thistle and the take

over in today's National.      Doesn't actua!ly say much and at the end reads like a job application but at least it admits that the board have a commuindication I open with the support

Actually thought he was quite poor 1st half. Couldn’t hold on to the ball and when he did was easily dispossessed - but like the rest of the team was much better once Robson and Mansell came on.

Blown way out of proportion, imo. Why do we need a bus to drive players (many of whom are based on the east coast) to Alloa?

I’ve seen some mention that we didn’t use a bus for close away games the last time we were in second tier. No idea if that’s true or not, but it seems logical enough. We also won the league that season...

Appreciate this is old news now but I've been away and just catching up.

Queen of the South haven't used a team bus for games South of Perth in about 15 years now! It's just pointless. Most of the players live in the Central belt anyway. It's financial lunacy to hire a bus to take half a dozen people from Dumfries at most and pick up the rest somewhere near the ground. Much easier for the players to go direct.

Is that true SD? I'm sure we used a team bus when Hibs,  Hearts and rangers were in the same division as us and they play South of Perth. I appreciate  the financial benefits of not hiring a team bus but players driving to games,  maybe getting stressed if held up by traffic or having an accident isn't the best preparation for a game.
