Firhill_Basin
You don't need to play him 90 minutes every week. He could have gotten 30 minutes on Saturday instead of another shit repeat of the Blair Spittal show, but because the reserves and youths are a mess also, we're shoehorning him in there. He's miles ahead of these boys and he's at more risk of being injured there as evidence against players a step behind him with mistimed tackles.

VictorOnopko
McGinty and £eown for the foreseeable, then? Still, at least our overall play is easy on the eye just now, and the manager's giving young talent a chance.

He didn't play on Saturday, alongside Callum Wilson and Jamie Sneddon, so all three played a part on Monday. In my personal opinion, at 17 years old Fitzpatrick needs to be playing every week - regardless of first team or reserves(that's a separate debate) I'd also dispute the "reserves and youths are a mess". We clearly weren't going to sign a squad of 18 players for the sole use of the reserve side. We'll use the first team players that need gametime/didn't play on the Saturday, the modern apprentices and the under 18 side. The regulations don't permit anyone under the age of 16, so a number of youngsters can't play yet this season having made a number of Dev League appearances last season.

professor challenger
Morton are 7/2 on Saturday. We might as well make money from this shambles

Scosha
Bit of a shame if O'Ware is out. Was looking forward to him shelling 40 yard passes out the pitch and repeatedly blame others for his mistakes for the 90 mins. Surely Partick have better than him?
Hammer Jag
At least you’re totally not bothered that we signed him.

thistledo
Was he not in the Championship PFA team of the year two years in a row? Seems like he must be alright.
Fuctifano
On limited viewings, O'Ware was far from the worst of our problems. I see Coulibaly has been removed from the twitter header photo / season ticket ad. Wouldn't surprise me if we take a punt on Quitongo now tbh.

A good defender but Archibald will need to reign in the pointing the finger at players when it was O’Ware’s fault for the goal type behaviour. 20 minutes ago, Scosha said: We're well rid Hmmm...

The inclusion of Coulibaly in the past, present, future graphic was only ever intended to be used in relation to his signing, so I wouldn't read too much into it. Who knows, a new signing might sneak into another image shortly before being announced...

Morton fans were baffled at his inclusion for last season. He was the weak link of our defence in a poor season and you'll find posts saying that from before he signed for you, so while some people may be bitter about his comments after he signed, Morton fans saying he was mince last season can't be entirely put down to bitterness. In any case, if any Morton fan is giving O'Ware stick beyond an honest appraisal of his performances they're basically doing it for the exact same reason you all hate Adam Barton. He pretty much publicly admitted that he didn't try for the whole season because he thought he was too good and couldn't be arsed. Which does of course mean it's perfectly believable that he's been solid so far for you, assuming he's decided he can be bothered again.
