The_Kincardine
Absolutely terrific news. The article is here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36213734 The best bit is this: We look forward to working with BBC Scotland's excellent team of sports producers and journalists in the four years ahead, So clearly there's going to be a clear out at Pacific Quay and the current arses will be replaced by professionals. Trebles all round!

lanky_ffc
He said it was "a new and significantly improved deal for both parties". But absolutely no mention of figures in the article
The_Kincardine
But absolutely no mention of figures in the article No of course. Neither The BBC nor The SPFL talk to license payers/fans. It would be too much if we actually had some information.
NavyBlueArmy1876
Did the SPFL get the money they wanted then? (£3m?) Or was it more like what the BBC were offering? (£1.4m?)
The_Kincardine
Did the SPFL get the money they wanted then? (£3m?) Or was it more like what the BBC were offering? (£1.4m?) Not a scooby, chap. Mushroom management is de rigueur in the bright and shiny SPFL. Keep them in the dark and feed them shite. This, though, is the organisation beloved of the diddies so as ye sow so shall ye reap. The_Kincardine
Should read "We look forward to slating Rangers at every opportunity next season" Hell mend em!! Indeed, Rab. Given that 'we' are the only club Media Scotland is interested in you'd think we'd get a better gig.

Dr Koop
Blow jobs all around from the Sportsound team tonight and warm words from Cockwomble. It'll be business as usual. Endless shite about Celtic and Rangers now it's, they hope, four games a season. The prospect of four more seasons of the likes of Ferguson parading their wares. foreverarover
It would be interesting to find out if the lower league clubs could come to some arrangement with the club's own tv station to get some kind of lower league program set up. Guaranteed we will have no coverage now servo are promoted.
Stu
It would be interesting to find out if the lower league clubs could come to some arrangement with the club's own tv station to get some kind of lower league program set up. Guaranteed we will have no coverage now servo are promoted. No live games either (aside from Alba) judging by the announcement on the SPFL website: "The announcement follows news earlier this season that Sky Sports and BT Sport will continue to broadcast live Ladbrokes Premiership matches until the end of season 2019/20." Not the end of the world, can't be doing with Sunday games.
bennett
Aren't the BBC and Rangers in some kind of dispute? They are boycotting us for some reason or another. It'll be interesting to see how they manage the cup final.
Shadwell Dog
Sevco wont allow a certain individual to report on their games and the bbc wont send snyone else. No surprise as the old firm are always spitting the dummy out about something no matter what clowns are in charge of them.
shull
BBC Scotland absolutely love donating cash to the Sevco cause. And the Bigots protest constantly. Fucking deluded blue sectarian cnuts. Lol
Bambino7
They are boycotting us for some reason or another. It'll be interesting to see how they manage the cup final. The boycott is because your club banned a nasty reporter at the bbc who told some home truths.
laughing gravie
For a team that banned the BBC for the truth, The Beeb have fell over themselves to the extent that you'd think nothing existed outside Govan, mind you, the papers have been much the same. Suppose it's easier this than actually doing some reporting.
