For the last time McBride is quoted as saying he's not interested in Gow. He has other players coming in. The other midfielders and the other central defender are far more important at the moment. Versatile midfielder Ryan, 29, came through the Celtic youth system and made two first-team appearances for the Glasgow club before moving on to Dundee. A spell at Raith Rovers followed, before Conroy returned to Queen of the South last season, having previously spent time on loan there. Most accustomed to a left-wing role, Ryan is also comfortable in central midfield and at left-back.
