Stirling Albion Thread

How many of the 17 were penalty's or from dry close range..he missed a few at. Very close up too re Arbroath away

Still haven't a clue what you're getting at. What were you expecting? Wonder goals every week? A goal is a goal and he scored 17 of them for a very, very shit team.

Seems to me that you're deeply hurt that Peaso patched you for the Albion...

Without his goals you'd playing in the lowland

Wrong....we would still have 11 players on the park so no MacDonald means a place for someone else to try to score in it was mentioned last year that he still had a year in him well year is up now

You really are bitter he left aren't you? Can't wait for Peaso to bag a hatrick vs Clyde now.

He was class for us and you've got to think if it wasn't for him we would've finished bottom. 2nd highest goal scorer in the league. Certainly won't get better but also don't think he'll be much worse. He'll be a solid player for Stirling.

Am guessing that this is really shite wind up but MacDonald was a great player for us last season. He is the best finisher we had at the club for a good number of years. To score 17 goals in such a shite team was a great achievement.

MacDonald did start to play less frequently from around March time when Goodwillie arrived and MacDonald & McGovern took temporary charge. He did start to struggle around then with the number of midweek games we had.

Obviously he is a year old but he never relied on pace with us. Instead it was clever, intelligent runs and creating a wee bit of space for himself to get a shot away. If he stays fit then wouldn't be surprised to see him score around the same number of goals again this season.
