Stirling Albion Thread

Won't be any worse of a crowd than a home tie vs the Shire or Edinburgh City, etc etc would have been.

People getting far too hung up on this U20 thing.

At least Shire and Edinburgh are proper teams, no colt teams. Cant understand how anyone can be excited by the visit of hearts youth team

Thoughts on Adam Cummins? Signed for us.

Very disappointing in his 10(ish) games that he played at Forthbank. We certainly saw no signs of a player that was ever good enough to be a First Team regular at Motherwell & Dundee, in fact, it's pretty hard to tell you about anything he did well.

Cummins may argue that the team were shambolic while he was at the club, but he certainly didn't do anything to improve it. Angus Beith & Andy Stirling came in at the same time and both left with relatively glowing reports but I think it said everything about his spell when McLaren didn't even attempt to sign him afterwards.

There is obviously a player there, his short list of clubs are impressive for a player at this level and for your sake I hope you see it more than we did.

Beat Cumbernauld Colts 3-1 tonight and it was a decent enough run out to be honest. Everyone got a game with the exception of C Smith, McGeachie, Forsyth & Mazel. Binnie & Verlaque played the full 90 minutes from memory (there was no tannoy man so had to go by the clubs Twitter feed).

Cumbernauld weren't up to much Defensively but were decent enough on the ball and the First Half was enjoyable as both teams tried to attack.

As was what usually happens, the Second Half turned into something of a damp squib with all the changes that were made, but there were positives for sure.

Any pubs close to the ground for this Saturday? Think we went to the halfway house the last time we visited forthbank

You'd be far better drinking up the city centre, then getting a taxi or walking (15-20mins) down to the ground.
