Lewis McLear signs from Albion Rovers, was obviously with us on loan from St.Mirren under Stuart McLaren in League 1.

If he can recapture the form he showed when he was on loan, then that’s a really good signing for us.

Must admit, he hasn’t stood out when I have seen him play against us for Edinburgh and Albion Rovers, in my opinion, so i’m hoping he’s not lost his way, but he certainly has that creative spark which will help the current midfielders out.

Chairman reckons 20+ scouts were at BR game. Was there a jamboree up the Gowan hill?  There again that would explain KR's winks and acknowledgements during, after match interview. 6 figures ohhh!  Is Stuart preparing us for a fall ? Exciting times.

There seemed to be quite a few scout looking folk there on Tuesday as well. Wonder who these people are looking at.

Yes noticed that wonder how much it cost the Club to get rid of him as he was on a 2 year contract. ?

A considerable sum of money + future medical costs.  God only knows where the money has come from to be so generous.  We must have a rich benefactor.  Has John Hunter come back on board?

It gets one of our highest earners off the wage bill and it will be less than paying him for another 15 months without a contribution on the park. Money well spent.

Agree not a wise signing given his previous injury form at his former club , took a chance and unfortunately it did not come off.

It is good to know that the club has funds adequate enough to meet this expenditure.
