Basically a good Templeman

That statement would suggest Templeman is not good. Big Sanny is one of the most skilled players in the lower leagues, also the slowest though so if Lister is a quick Sanny then a great signing.

Seeing as how we are being linked to Cox and Lister, here's a player by player rating of the Airdrie team from local journalist Colin Paterson from the Daily Record.

Looks like any team would do well to get them.

Would be a great signing for anyone in league 1 or 2 the big man is a great target man sad to see him leave

Another poster summed up Cox perfectly earlier. Not very good at all on the ball but his direct running and pace causes a threat at this level and I imagine it would be even more so in the bottom tier. Can be undisciplined at times and pick up some silly bookings and red cards. A decent signing for League 2.

Templeman put in a great shift for Forfar and always gave 100%. He was punted due to a small but gobby minority who were on his case every game. He was replaced by Craig who brought little to the table and had little lmpact on most games I saw him play both home and away. How many goals did we lose from corners because Sanny was missing?

Not going in to the whole Sanny debate - think it's been done enough this season. It's interesting to note though, that your focus is on how he was missed while defending corners!

He was our number 9 and should have been sticking them in up the other end. It's not like we weren't getting free kicks or corners up at the other end of the pitch. If he was so good at the back, you'd think he might have stuck a few in from headers into the opposition net too.

Great news about Lister and Cox joining Bain at Station Park next season. Welcome to the club gents.

Think we need to bring in:

GK: Hills woeful, will be back up. Need to bring in another keeper.

RB: think we will be fine with Bain and Travis

CB: probably bring in another 1 or 2, Travis and TOB probably being first choice.

LB: Kennedy, don't think he will be first choice tho can see us bringing someone in.

Wingers: Denholm, Hay, Swankie maybe bring one winger in.

Centre mid: Smith (maybe) and Foxy, probably bring two in.

Striker: Lister, Cox, Swankie, maybe Craig and Ryan. Can't see us bring anyone else in there if one of them stay.

So need: Gk, CB, LB, CM. Maybe Striker and Winger.

Faster than any defender he'll come up against anyway haha.

Lister is a cracking signing. Was still one of the best strikers in League One last season. Absolute nightmare for defenders and will have a decent scoring return too. Looks like you guys are building up a decent squad.
