He's going to be fucking insufferable now.

We need some statistician to sort the cnut out, like in a group of 15 people someone will always share a birthday or some shit.

Decided to do a mock draw using finely cut pieces of paper and a snapback this morning

A: Inverness, Dundee Utd, Arbroath, Elgin, Brechin

B: St Johnstone, Falkirk, Dunfermline, Cove Rangers, Stirling

C: Dundee, Dumbarton, Peterhead, Forfar, East Fife

D: Ross County, Raith, Cowdenbeath, Alloa, Montrose

E: Kilmarnock, QOS, Queens Park, Stenhousemuir, Airdrie

F: Motherwell, Rangers, Berwick, Annan, Ayr

G: Hamilton, Morton, East Stirling, Albion, Clyde

H: Partick, St Mirren, Edinburgh City, Stranraer, Livingston

What a shout .

Did someone suggest earlier in the thread that the fixtures are determined by:

Top seed plays 2nd top seed and "first" unseeded team away; the other two teams at home

2nd seed plays "first" and "second" unseeded teams away; the other two teams at home

And the fixtures for the other three teams just fall out naturally from that?

It would seem the sensible way of doing it - it means the top seeds play the supposedly weakest teams at home (reward for being seeded), while giving the next two teams in line a shot at an upset.

That's how they did it in the UEFA cup.

Makes sense for the wee teams as well, gives them a shot at playing at a big ground.

Another shambles by the Spfl. Really what is the point of that draw tonight. Sorry half finished draw. Why did they not have the fixtures made up already using letters and draw each league to configure with a letter. The draw is complete in one go rather than this crap.Complete pointless exercise of a draw.

The draw was really good and considering how complicated (relatively) it was actually quite surprising and pleasing to see it pass without a fail.

And because they'll need to go and do the fixtures to suit clubs. Dumbarton v Peterhead will be a Saturday for example I imagine to make it easier for them, don't see the problem with that. Will give time for the TV to pick their games too.
