Does anyone know for certain how fixtures are decided, in terms of who is at home. Surely this should have been announced before the draw otherwise folk will complain about alleged fixes

Cockwomble will start with the desired 'Rangers' v Celtic tie and work backwards.

Cannot wait to lock horns with The Loons, cracking Local Derby match in prospect.

Is heroin still freely available in Peterhead?

Shouldn't be too much to sort out a delivery from Fraserburgh.

So just to be clear, does anyone know why Dumbarton were in the North?

We should have a 20 page thread or something to discuss that sort of thing.

I think it's because the SPFL for them mixed up with Dunfermline.

That would break into the yearly question of why Falkirk and East Stirlingshire are grouped differently. Incidentally, why are East Stirlingshire in the League Cup at all?

Why wouldn't they be?

Good point. Just seemed a bit awkward when Cockwomble announced Cove Rangers as the Winners of the Highland League, and then East Stirlingshire, and nothing.

Shire don't play in Falkirk any more, they play in Stenhousemuir so it makes sense they're in the same region as them.

As for why they're in the League Cup, if you didn't invite the Highland and Lowland League teams you'd be left with an awkward number of 38 teams (excluding those who have qualified for Europe). They announced in advance that the two extra spots would go to the Highland/Lowland Champions or the relegated team if one of said champions won the playoff.

TV sponsors will decide this on the games in which they are interested.  The SPFL will then work around these to arrange what is left.  Police too might have a say, after BT, of course.
