Rob Roy 2

Shettleston 2

Poor performance from us...missed the 1st goal from Rob Roy...was in the bar.....got a lifeline when Finnigan handled on the line and was red carded..Parker scoring the resulting penalty.....

Sawyers rose at back post to put the Rabs ahead again.....And things got worse when Frances Gave away a penalty after pulling Sawyers back...Halliwell saving well to give us hope...squandered numerous chances by striking the bar, post and side netting before Miguel Blanco popped up to level in injury time....

1st goal  - Bryn flapped at a cross and palmed it straight onto the head of the Roy player who had an empty net that he glanced the ball into.

Despite playing for 50 minutes with 10 men Roy will be fuming that they only managed a draw, better side by far over the game and they probably could have been 3 up before Shettleston got out of their own half.

Fecking freezing as well.

Quite surprised Beith pumped Arthurlie again. Did Johnnie Millar shuffle his pack for the game? Never really saw Beith as league contenders but Wednesday night is shaping up as a big test of credentials for them and the Blastiea.

A team who have conceded 26 goals in 13 games and you think they are league contenders, stay off the drink pal.

yes Johnny rested  players , no reid Christie or Fisher to name a few. Arthurlie tbh were very poor and Mackie was diving all over the place you would have thought he was trying to impress the Olympic Selection committee for Rio. Regards to the league it is still there to be won but will take a mammoth effort given the cups we are still involved in, but it keeps the interest going and with players fighting for a cup final place you can never tell what may happen in the coming weeks.
