HibeeJibee
That's all of LTHV's games-in-hand caught up... They are 3pts behind, but also 15 goals behind, so unless the gubbings keep up still need a Leith slip-up. Leith Athletic Lothian Thistle HV Sat 07 May Coldstream (A) Tynecastle (A) Wed 11 May Eyemouth (A) Hawick (A) Sat 14 May Tynecastle (A) Civil Service (A) Tue 17 May Burntisland (A) Coldstream (A) Fri 20 May Lothian THV (A) Leith Athletic (H)

HibeeJibee
That sees LTHV now 6pts (and 9 goals) behind Leith with 4 games left. Indeed LTHV is now under some pressure from Civil Service, 3pts further back.

rigano
They were 1-0 down too... Briefly. Deserved champions. Wonder if it would have been different but for lthv huge backlog.
HibeeJibee
Both won all their home games bar LTHV drawing 1 in January and Leith losing 1 in March. Leith lost 3 away (October/December/April) whereas LTHV lost 4 (September/March x3) plus drew 2 (December/April)... Poor March hurt LTHV but was before clocks changed and catching-up began in earnest.

scrooge1928
There will be two 3G pitches at the rebuilt Meadowbank and I'd hope the planners would take into consideration licensing requirements for both of them.

Just asking why is it assumed Leith would get the honour of sharing a brand new facility with City above any other Edinburgh team like Hutchy or Tynecastle ? paleface
This. 100%. Makes a mockery of the pyramid system Leith / Hutchy spend big on players and win the league but no facilities Civil / Hawick upgrade their facilities cant win the league so don't qualify automatically ,,,,,,,, also ps if they have not met the entry level I would withdraw their automatic entry to the Scottish as well and withdraw it from Junior teams as that's a joke they get in of they have to allow LL etc in their Cup
Derek1234
Leith haven't spent big on players this season at all.
