Deeboy
You mean Man City and Man Utd, teams you take young players off of on loan, in turn denying your own youth, yeah?
Man of Aran
Paul McMullan on loan at Morton as well. Probably been one of our better players in the latter part of the season. Full of energy and has proved a handful for most defences he's come up against so far. Final ball has been suspect though.Hard to tell if he has what it takes to step up to premiership level or not - I can envisage him having a Paul McGowan-esque career. Would have him back next season if he was available.
Insert Amusing Pseudonym
He's a current first team player who started came through the youths set-up. We haven't done too badly with youth players. No worse than anyone else & better than a lot. When you think that we have produced guys like Marshall, Maloney, McGeady, McManus, Forrest, Tierney, McGregor to name but a few, who have went on to play for us and some who went on to make us some money. I'm no really having a go at Celtic here for no bringing players through other than they spend a fortune on youth players, scouting etc and turn guys who would get a game for almost anyone else in Scotland into guys who hang around on decent money till they're 23 by which time they rarely go on to be much cop.If they're not good enough for the first team fair enough, but it's a situation that hurts the players target than the club
Davie Bhoy
You mean Man City and Man Utd, teams you take young players off of on loan, in turn denying your own youth, yeah? Yes...however, look at the players we have on loan at other clubs....& I'm being told they develop them better than what we do, so it's a win/win situation then. Must do better! Biscuitty Boyce
Celtic's youth system has benefitted Ross County more than it's benefitted Celtic.

TheScarf
Celtic's youth system has benefitted Ross County more than it's benefitted Celtic. And Ross County's has benefitted absolutely no one.

Jan Vojáček
And Ross County's has benefitted absolutely no one.Well that's not strictly true, we got Stevie Ross who made the grand total of 1 start and then vanished from the face of earth. But what a start it was. Subbed after 60 minutes at Palmerston in a 1-0 defeat - worth every penny. Is he now at Elgin too?
