Rovers1992/1993 Posted April 8, 2016 Share Posted April 8, 2016 Really ??? I'm not as much of a fan as everyone else is. He's easily replaced. He makes cracking saves all the time. But minutes later looks hesitant when coming out to collect a ball. I wouldn't be disappointed to see him stay. I just feel that there is better out there. Get rid: Brown (under contract unfortunately), Gallagher, Kirkpatrick, Heh (loan return). Undecided: Taggart (haven't seen enough of him this season), Waters (decent enough option I feel but not had a great run of games), Walsh (not seen enough of him to judge), Cawley, Heffernan. Wouldn't be against keeping McCallum and Hopkins to loan them out but I fear our initial excitement over McCallum was premature. He may only be 19 but at that age I'd be expecting him to make more of an impact, he's not a youth anymore. If you look across the leagues you will see plenty of 19 year olds progressing far better than Donald is. I keep reading 'he's not ready yet', if he's not ready then when will he be? He seemed to start the season well and isn't featuring at all now. I'd happily take him at cappielow. Seems like the type of player our midfield is crying out for. Forgot he existed tbh. I might seem harsh on some, but I'd have Taggart at RB over the Mantis every single day - doubt he's on as big a wage either, Cawley's looked good in the middle, but if we aren't going to play him there then it's pointless keeping him.
