Harry Haddock
Mutterings at Broadwood yesterday that NLL would not be too disappointed to see the back of the Colts and Clyde now that Scottish Rugby have a strong presence and indeed have built premises to the side of the behind the goal stand.I am aware Clyde are looking elsewhere can anyone from the Colts throw any light on the subject.. Patches O'Houlihan
I think this would be a massive own goal by NLL given the Colts community involvement. I can't see there being much to this rumour.

WaffenThinMint
That's a new one. Yesterday the story doing the rounds was that Airdrie were temporarily moving to Boardwood. What's it going to be tomorrow, Guns 'N'Roses are going to do 3 nights there in the summer?
LongTimeLurker
Who told you this Harry? ... Colin the Cod Hard as it may be to believe, a player called Harry Haddock was Clyde's captain when they won the Scottish Cup in the late 1950s.

Guess which perennial Cup Final losers they beat... (clue: not City!)
Jacksgranda
Guess which perennial Cup Final losers they beat... (clue: not City!) He was also in the side that defeated Celtic in the 1954/55 Scottish Cup Final, although I don't know if he was captain for that one.
Patches O'Houlihan
Harry thought he had us hook, line and sinker, but he was soon smoked out when he realised that we knew something fishy was going on, and he was put in his plaice.
Harry Haddock
Also capped 8 times for Scotland and I believe only booked once in a 20 year senior career.
EdinburghBlue
Also capped 8 times for Scotland and I believe only booked once in a 20 year senior career. Obviously didn't have to cope with Willie Collum and his likes.
sureiknow
I knew a guy who was called Billy Mackerel. Of course he was called Billy the Fish. 3Rd Cousin to Harry Haddock maybe?
