HIT THE CHANNEL Posted March 26, 2016 Share Posted March 26, 2016 Well... Great win and massive three points. Thought the fans were good again today and backed the team well. The line up was 'negative' on paper but I always fancy Ray Mac to have the game plan and it worked well again. Big Joel was 10/10 when he came on - some lovely touches and held the ball up really nicely. Solid at the back and dominant in midfield. It's such a difference from under Murray when even when the other side have the better of it you are not shitein your breeks they will score at any moment and fancy Us to hold out and hit on the break (as we did today and against the big Renfrewshire team). 12 points off Morton and 10 off Saints. About 6 yellow cards which were hardly fouls far less bookings. Anyway what a result and a fantastic end to the season. There's something happening at this club just now and absolutely no reason why we can't look to be successful in the play offs now. As for today Davo and Callachan were outstanding. See when they both play simple football and don't try 70 yard passes they are far better footballers. We still pick up really stupid bookings though - it'll cost us badly one day. McManus got himself so wound up after a shit shot at goal he was always going to do something stupid. That he didn't do Thomson a bad injury was just luck. Reckless almost doesn't cover it. But still only worth a yellow.
