Camelon v Buffs

Both clubs have pros and cons mate .

We will just have to see who comes out on top ï¸however most buffs people think that they've got a straight walk over to the final which suits us as we are very quiet and will carry on our business as normal . :)

I haven't heard anyone from Kilwinning say that. But the Buffs are a far better team than they were last season, have disposed of two good top-flight East teams and are sitting pretty near the top of the Super First so confidence isn't an issue. But that doesn't guarantee a win so nobody is expecting anything.

Just had a look at Beith Junior's web-site and checked their own stats for the last 5 games against The Buffs.

LOST 3,  Drawn 1, WON 1

Yet they posted:

Form Guide v Kilwinning Rangers

Here is the up to date form guide against Kilwinning Rangers. As you can see we have a good overall record against the Buffs.

On this evidence there is surely more weak links at Beith than Buffs.

Stats don't really mean a great deal to be honest .

If you looked at beiths stats against Petershill over the last 40 years it would probably read ;

Petershill won 15

Beith won 2

Drawn 5

In that case they should have pasted us 0-5 at Bellsdale in the 5th round of the scottish ;)

If stats are meaningless why bother to promote them on your website ?

40 year of games against Petershill are meaningless - Beith last beat the Buffs more than 2 years ago and RECENT results show the Buffs to have the beating of Beith.   To suggest otherwise is to indulge yourself in bizarre delusional myopia.  But isn't that what being a Juniors fan is all about ?

Past results & stats of Beith v Buffs are all history. Both teams are in decent form & are playing well. All that matters are the next two legs coming up in the semi final,& which team scores the most goals,& Buffs have been scoring for fun in recent matches! The team with "the best players" or "played the best",doesn't always win. Yes,luck can often come into the equation, but at the end of the day......goals win matches! Here's hoping both sets of supporters turn out in big numbers & get behind their team in each leg;& make it a memorable semi final & representation of the Juniors! C'MON THE BUFFS!!

Buffs three times trailing at home against Camelon tells me that there is flaws out there and they can be got at for sure.

And they did their homework for the replay.. played it exactly as they did against Linlithgow ..3 up at h/t 1 back score a 4th .. Why change something thats not broken ... Its all on the day .. or 2 days in this case ..But hopefully they 3 goals at home were a hiccup .. If you saw them 2 of them were wonder goals more so the 2nd .. the  3rd the striker should never have been allowed to run along the 18 yard line and get the shot off...I can assure you no-one in Kilwinning is considering it a gimme ...Its going to be tough but if we can come away from Beith with any kind of result then we may   consider ourselves favourites ..but until then its all to play for..Good luck to both sides and lets hope the fans behave after the bottle launching incident at Beith 2 games ago..Maybe the committee have learned their lesson and wont leave a plentiful supply of ammo at the gate

And your four follow up posts on this thread alone show how quiet you're being.
