So Cowden in a money grab attempt have changed their pricing structure to almost that of EEP.

I'm quite glad of this as it surely will mean central park now offers the same facilities and along with many other improvements we won't watch the game through a fucking fence.

Love these games when dafc.net comes for a day out to pie and bovril.

Cue the posts about the stadium shouldn't be allowed and it's a health and safety risk, the pitch is impossible to play football on, the toilets are overflowing with pish ( wonder who fills them ) and now we have increased the prices to bleed them dry ! ( despite price reduction for under 12 and 16 -18s)

Seethe meter up and running !

From our website.

Cowdenbeath FC can now confirm admission arrangements for this derby match. This is a segregated match. Cowdenbeath fans will be housed in the Main (New) Stand. Dunfermline Athletic fans will be accommodated on the South Terracing (opposite the stands) and in the Old Stand. Entry to the Main (New) Stand by home fans and to the South Terracing by away fans will be from the High Street end. Admission to the Old Stand for away fans will be via the Chapel Street end turnstiles.

This is not an all ticket match and will operate on a Pay at the Gate basis. Admission prices are as follows: Adults £15, Concessions £10 (over 60, under 18, full time students and disabled), Under 12s £5. Please note that ID may be required for all concession turnstiles (valid matriculation cards, birth certificates, passport or official documentation).

No Cowdenbeath fans on the terracing? Surprised no one is fussed about that.

And while I have every sympathy for Cowden and the situation with the stadium there is no way they should be allowed to charge £15 for entry, that's a horrendous price for the stadium and facilities on offer.

You can watch a game at the national stadium for less ffs.

Well Queen's Park are in a lower division.

For the facilities that are on offer at the respective grounds, charging someone more to go to Central Park than the national stadium is a bit of a farce IMO.

Everyone knows what our stadium is like. There's hee haw we can do about it.

Either shut the fuk up and don't go,or be a man and support your team regardless. It's a local game, the weathers decent and you're going for the league.

Didn't realise the 'toon' had so many jessibels.

Our old stand is a cracking stand to watch football in.  We should be charging £20 for it alone.

1. You could sensibly reduce your admission fee to recognise you are asking fans to watch the game from a shit tip.

2. You could have used the money from last season that you told everyone would 'mean so much to the club ' instead you blew the fucking lot.

So no, there isn't hew haw you could do.

Why would the club spend money on doing up a ground that they don't own?

As mentioned by Al everyone knows its a shithole of a ground so why bring it up every time.

As far as I remember the club did want to reduce prices but it was suggested by the supporters to keep prices the same as last season to help the club out.

We do not own the stadium.  This fact seems to be ignored everytime this topic comes up.

Because it's the sensible course of action for good customer care. Thousands of businesses improve rented facilities to better suit themselves and there customers. Including dafc.

It gets mentioned every time Becouse nothing changes every time.

The money from last season could have hugely influenced your position with the brewsters, but no paying bigger wages to players not good enough for the championship was more important, plead for sympathy all you want, but when it comes to it your not actually that willing to help the situation.

Like you have a true insight into the position - how exactly could this alleged money have hugely influenced our position with the Brewsters? You really don't know what you are talking about.
