Ridiculous that McDonald clearly elbowed Donaldson and got away with it. Then Mixu gets abuse the whole game and gives some back to Dundee and getting a ban, ridiculous.

You failed to mention Morris' 2 assaults on Johnson.

Shocking that standard hustle n bustle and GIRUY aspect of the game is being wielded as a petty point scorer, meanwhile, Paul Dixon being blindside grievously assaulted from the stands is being ignored.

Both benches shook hands at full time. The end.

This post illustrates exactly why the beaks are correct to clamp down (hard) on the rampant anti social behaviour and subsequent social unrest actively cultivated by Dundee United Football Club.

Once again a representative of the club, in this case, club figurehead and leader Mixu Paatelainen, has chosen to contravene reasonable rules and expectations set out for the benefit of all.

When this club representative has been caught out in this flagrant act of wilful social unrest Dundee United Football Club have again sought to lay blame for the crass and, frankly unsavoury incident with the very victims of the offence. In this case the victims are the fans of Dundee Football Club, fans who, let's not forget, have generously lined the coffers of Dundee United Football Club in attending the game solely to cheer on their dark blue heroes.

Hot on the heels of scurrilous allegations levelled against the victim of a biting incident at Tannadice Park it seems Dundee United Football club have learned nothing from this unsavoury incident and persist with a course of victim blaming which is now synonymous with this organisation. Mixu is not to blame for his lack of control, it's the fans seated behind the dugout, a majority of whom likely never uttered a negative word towards Mixu who are responsible and should be hauled in front of a disciplinary panel according to Mixu Paatelainen.

You can't blame the Dundee Utd fans for simply toeing the party line, after all it is all they have known over the past decades, but it is sad to see the denizens of east Angus so conditioned by the pay masters at Tannadice stadium.

When will this end? IMO this lack of self policing and inability to accept responsibility for poor standards internally has permeated the club culture to such an extent that even the poor performances on display are not seen as a problem with those employed at Dundee Utd, but often attributed to referees, opposition players and/or fans.

This lack of internal check and balance is leading to a humiliating relegation for a club operating with a budget that would see most other clubs automatically qualify for Europe - is this the perfect opportunity to learn some humility or is the club simply too far gone?

I occasionally like to troll, but there's no way I would put this much effort into it.

For some reason I enjoy that picture of Hartley immensely ðŸ˜

I enjoy the contrast between mixu - who is clearly on the verge of a mental breakdown, and oor pep - who looks every inch the relaxed gleeful, mischievous scamp.

He is some boi.

£4K a week well spent, IMO.

The experience he brings to these bench related moments is invaluable. Both he and Florent Sinama Pongolle have really changed the ethos and togetherness of the bench and lifted the morale of the whole technical area.
