ROSSVALE FC

One of the most progressive junior clubs in Scotland, Rossvale FC, are on the lookout for a new management team. The Bishopbriggs based side, who joined the junior ranks in 2010 and won Division 2 championship in season 2014-2015 have parted company with manager Martin Lauchlan and his coaching staff recently.

We are keen to hear from anyone who would like the opportunity to manage this progressive club and continue with our challenge for promotion this season.

Write to somebody in Hamilton for team based in Bishopbriggs???

Nothing beats local community spirit right enough.

Jealousy is such a tragic emotion.

Seems there is a lot of jealousy going on regarding this subject already but it also seems from one side. We haven't seen any bad mouthing from anyone from Rossvale FC, they don't seem to have run to papers and have handled themselves with dignity. And who cares where anyone on committee comes from, what difference does that make. You get Glasgow managers taking Ayrshire clubs so what has that to do with a manager leaving a club. It seems going by reports they gave the club no option and when they called their bluff the dummy was spat out. No doubt the true story will come out sometime but for now let their club get on doing the good job they are doing.

Axeman I think u will find the press contacted Martin and not him running to them as u suggest . It's a big story when a manager takes a team from bottom of 2nd division to the brink of not just back to back promotions but back to back championships as well as last 16 in the Scottish good run in the west etc. There was no bluff called Martin and Carlo were up front and told the committee of there in tensions to step down at the end of the season . Also interesting to see u joined at 4.30 today I smell a rat

We the committee of Rossvale Juniors FC would like to make it very clear regarding our previous official post on Sunday night that at no time did we ask or wish our coaches to leave the club.

To clarify our position and to hopefully alleviate any further misunderstanding, both our coaches informed the committee on Saturday that they would be resigning at the end of this season.

They also informed us that if required they would stand down from immediate effect from Rossvale Juniors FC. The committee are & were as shocked and surprised by the coaches statement as I am sure most of the junior football family are also.

The committee on Sunday made a very tough decision but one we feel that would be better for the clubs future to part company now. We feel that by doing this it would give us time to get someone new into the vacant post. It would also give them time until the end of this season to make their mark & get the squad & the club ready and prepared for the start of next season.

Thank you.

Committees can't get involved in team matters never ever .

The manager is paid to manage and the playing side of things belong to himself and his staff, the committee should be a team off the park who work in the best possible manner to fundraise and try to provide for the management in giving them as good a hand to deal with as possible in attracting players to the club.

Two teams coming together as one team although the playing side of things should never be interfered with by the committee , not saying it's happened at rossvale ️️however if it happens then most self respecting managers wouldn't tolerate it.

If you have watched rossvale especially over the last year the boys lauchy has got into Rossvale and also that boys come through the 21s have been a joy to watch

All young guys hungry to play and win

Where ever he turns up his contacts for young players not established in juniors has to be a plus
