Anybody else ever remembering the disgusting taste of the promo "Irn Bru" mince pies that appeared & disappeared into bins even quicker.

Was at the time Barr's started their sponsorship with the old SFL.

All the rest of the pies everyone is talking about on this site tasted like nectar compared to that shit.

Curried chicken pie away at Stennie last Saturday was outstanding. Hot, generous filling and good quality pastry that held together. I ended up having two.

Tea was also top notch - strong and piping hot.

Stenny is my favourite football food outlet. Nice staff and their wee hut actually looks clean inside.

Arbroath's Steak in Blackpudding by Fleming's is well good.

Cowdenbeaths Steak is pretty good aswell.

Forfar Bridie's supplied by Saddlers is a bit like the present team flaky and lacking in the middle. Perhaps they should go for McLaren's, firmer, no nonsense and full of meat to spur on their 3 Rd division campaign.

Good pies at Albion Rovers and Brechin (and excellent fish and chips at the Ashfield). Poor at Forfar and disgusting at Cowdenbeath. Most amusing pie experience was at Airdrie. Literally first in the queue when shop opened. Asked for a steak pie, only to be told that they had sold out

Pretty sure airdrie had pot noodles the last time I was there. Bit weird.

Biggest rip off is Queens Park , need a mortgage for 3 shite pies

Always been pricey but the quality has been awful this year. They must start warming them about ten in the morning. Poor vfm.

The bakery that does the rovers pies won the prestigious best scotch pie in the world award a few years ago, it was featured in some Paul Hollywood program at the time

Airdrie also uses the same baker. It was the best part of our miserable season when Airdrie gave is digs. Just really tasty.

Annan's good vfm too. Not exceptional but well priced.

Clyde turned their pie stand into a gym and bring in a show ground van that sells burgers for a fiver. Shambles of a football club.

Better than the pies we get. We had the van when the offices were being done up. But still better than a shitey pie or cold chips at Hampden where you need to take a loan out to fucking afford it

Agree completely on the Hampden offering but, seriously, what eegit thought it a good idea to do away with hot savoury food featuring recycled meats wrapped in a saturated fat casing and replace it with a bloody fitness centre. It's Scotland FFS!
